My husband's jock itch is putting a strain on our marriage. A year ago he gave me athlete's foot from his gym floor. I still have it.

Therefore I'm refusing to have sex with him while I see any signs of jock itch on his body.

It is going on 3 months.

I don't know when it'll come off his body. He denies that anything itches so he won't medicate anymore. I still see a few red spots and am not interested in having them.

My athlete's foot would have gone away if I hadn't had a hard time with the antifungal medicine. I had been sexually assaulted in a violent attack 2 years ago and had 3 trials that resulted. I ate little food of nutritional value. It felt like my body was trying to suck out nutrients from the antifungal medicine- that's how little I ate. It seemed like my emotions responded to it, due to the fact that my body itself was so vulnerable to everything.

Regardless of using the medicine constantly for almost a year, the stuff never went away. I stopped using it now and still have the stuff.

So its unbelievable to me that my husband, considering all this, wouldn't medicate until all signs of the jock itch were gone. I am a very interested wife. This is hard for me.

Pray for us because I am depressed.

Father, You are present in all of life's circumstances. I pray for Your healing touch upon this couple. May they know the fullness of Your healing, and be restored to health. Renew them in mind, body and spirit, and allow them to draw closer to You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
