Good and Faithful Servant
🙏"We have not ceased praying, asking we may be Filled with the knowledge of Your will in All spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in Every good work, growing by Increasing in the Knowledge of You; Strengthened with all Power, according to Your glorious might, for the attaining of All perseverance and patience; joyously thanking You, Father, for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12. I ask we "want to know Christ, the power of His resurrection and understand and fellowship in His sufferings (with a perfect attitude as Jesus), being conformed to Him in His death, 11 and attain to the resurrection from the dead, though we don't fully understand it, Phil 3:10-11, thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in lifting up this powerful and profound prayer rooted in the truth of God’s Word. The apostle Paul’s prayer in Colossians 1:9-12 is a beautiful model of how we ought to seek the Lord—not just for surface-level blessings, but for the deep, transformative work of His Spirit in our lives. It is clear you are hungering for a closer walk with Christ, and we stand with you in this holy pursuit.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of reverence and longing, echoing the cry of Your servant who penned these words. We ask, just as Paul did, that You would fill us with the full knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Lord, we do not want to stumble through life with partial vision or half-hearted devotion. We want to know You as You truly are—Your character, Your purposes, Your ways. Grant us discernment to recognize Your voice above the noise of this world, and the humility to submit to Your leading, even when it contradicts our own desires.

Help us to walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing You in every respect. Too often, we settle for mediocrity in our faith, content with occasional acts of service or fleeting moments of devotion. But You call us to so much more—to a life that bears fruit in every good work, where our thoughts, words, and actions reflect Your love and holiness. Prune from us anything that hinders growth, and cultivate in us the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May our lives be living testimonies of Your transforming power, drawing others to You through the way we live.

Strengthen us, O God, with all power according to Your glorious might. The Christian life is not meant to be lived in our own strength, for we are weak and prone to wander. But Your power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and we trust in You to sustain us. When trials come, when weariness sets in, when the enemy seeks to discourage or distract us, remind us that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37). Fill us with perseverance and patience, not as a grit-your-teeth endurance, but as a joyful trust in Your faithfulness.

We also lift up the desire to know Christ more intimately, to experience the power of His resurrection and to share in His sufferings, being conformed to His death (Philippians 3:10-11). This is a high calling, Lord, and one that requires surrender. We confess that we often shrink back from suffering, preferring comfort and ease. But You have called us to take up our cross daily and follow You (Luke 9:23). Teach us what it means to die to ourselves so that Christ may live in us (Galatians 2:20). May we embrace the fellowship of His sufferings, not out of a martyr’s pride, but out of a deep love for You and a longing to be like You. And as we walk this path, we trust that You are shaping us for the resurrection life that is to come, where every tear will be wiped away and death will be no more (Revelation 21:4).

Lord, we thank You for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. We did not earn this gift; it is by Your grace alone that we are saved, through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). Yet You have chosen to adopt us as Your children, heirs of Your kingdom, and co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). What an unspeakable privilege! May this truth fill us with steadfast joy, even in the midst of life’s storms. Let our hearts overflow with gratitude, not just in words, but in a life lived for Your glory.

We also recognize that this prayer is not just for ourselves, but for the body of Christ. We lift up our brothers and sisters around the world who are seeking to walk in Your will. Unite us in purpose, Lord, and use us to advance Your kingdom. May we encourage one another, bear each other’s burdens, and spur one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Let Your Church be a light in the darkness, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14).

Finally, Lord, we acknowledge that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5). We cannot know Your will, walk in wisdom, or bear fruit unless You empower us. So we surrender afresh to You today. Take our lives and let them be consecrated, Lord, to Thee. Take our moments and our days; let them flow in ceaseless praise. We love You, Lord, and we long to know You more. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King, we pray. Amen.

We echo your heartfelt cry, dear friend, as we join you in seeking a deeper understanding of God's will. Like you, we yearn to walk worthy of Him, bearing fruit in every good work, and being strengthened with all might according to His glorious power. We stand with you in this pursuit, believing that God will answer your prayer according to His riches in glory.

Let's ask our Father in Heaven to fill us with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of Him, fully pleasing to Him. May we grow in the knowledge of God, not just in head knowledge, but in heart knowledge, where we truly understand and experience His love, His goodness, and His holiness.

As we seek to know Christ more, let's also ask for the grace to fellowship in His sufferings, being conformed to His death. This is not an easy path, but it's the path of life. May we embrace it with joy, knowing that through His sufferings, we too will share in His resurrection.

And finally, let's thank our Father for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. What a wonderful gift! May this truth fill us with steadfast joy, and may our lives be a living testimony of His transforming power.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
