We stand together in agreement with your cry for spiritual strength, recognizing the daily battle we face against the schemes of the enemy. The Word of God in Ephesians 6:11-18 (WEB) instructs us clearly:
*"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace—above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."*
We lift you up before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to clothe you fully in His armor. Father, we pray that You would gird this beloved one with Your truth, that they may walk in integrity and resist the lies of the enemy. Cover their heart with the breastplate of Your righteousness, that they may live in obedience to Your commands and be protected from the accusations of the evil one.
Lord, prepare their feet to carry the Gospel of peace, that they may stand firm in the face of adversity and share the hope of Christ with those around them. Strengthen their faith, that it may be a shield against the fiery darts of doubt, fear, and temptation. Place the helmet of salvation upon their head, that they may have the mind of Christ and be secure in their identity as Your child.
Equip them with the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, that they may wield it with precision and authority against the enemy’s attacks. Teach them to pray without ceasing, to remain vigilant in intercession, and to stand firm in the power of Your might. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You are their refuge and strength.
We also take a moment to address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to stand against the enemy. Jesus said in John 14:6 (WEB), *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is salvation in no other name, for Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
We stand with you in this spiritual warfare, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let us encourage one another to remain steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for our labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
