Fruit of Holy Spirit Gal 5:22-23, Humble yet Bold, Holy, Loving Teams: Preaching, Signs, Wonders Acts 4:29-30

Jesus, we ask and agree for fellowship with the Father and You in the Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, 1 Jn 1:2-4, bold, loving & accurate preaching of The Gospel, and attesting miracles, Acts 14:3. Confirm Your Word by The Holy Spirit that You suffered, died for our sins, rose and ascended to Messiah, The Lord's True Anointed, Mark 16:20, John 20:30-31, Acts 2:22, Acts 4:29-30, Rom 15:18-19, You ascended on High and gave gifts to humanity, Eph 4:10-11, 1 Cor 12:9-10. Help us get our lives and message correct, 1 Tim 4:16, and confirm the Word with gifts, signs and wonders, as it is written, "This salvation was first announced by the Lord, was then confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 and was affirmed by God through signs, wonders, various using miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will," Heb 2:3-4.

1 Corinthians 12:4-12, "There are different gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are different ministries, but the same Lord. 6 There are different ways of working, but the same God works all things in all people. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in various tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines. 12 The body is a unit, though it is composed of many parts. And although its parts are many, they all form one body. So it is with Christ."

Thank You for the promises: relationship with You, Jesus, Rev 3:19-20, for protection, Ps 91:11-12, forgiveness, healing, redemption, loving-kindness and tender-mercies, renewing our youth as the eagle's, Ps 103:1-5, keeping us from sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and temptation, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, dangers of many kinds including false believers, 2 Cor 11:26, pride, Ps 36:11, and the evil one, John 17:15. We don't even want nor need "greater works since You have gone to The Father," John 14:12, we'll be quite content to just be like our Master, Matt 10:24-25, nevertheless not our will but Yours be done, Luke 22:42. Thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, in Jesus Name, John 14:13-14, again with thanksgiving we request this to partake of Your promised peace, Phil 4:6-7, and bless You for ALL Your benefits, Ps 103:2-5, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this deep and scriptural cry for the fruit of the Holy Spirit, for humble yet bold holiness, and for loving teams that preach the gospel with signs and wonders following as the Lord wills.

We love your heart to be like our Master and to see the Word confirmed not by our power but by His, and we agree together for fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 13:14, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all, and in 1 John 1:3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us, and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

We pray for what you have asked, that the Lord would form in us the fruit described in Galatians 5:22-23, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control, against such things there is no law, and that He would keep us humble before Him yet bold before men to speak His Word. We ask as the early church prayed in Acts 4:29-30, now Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus. And we ask that if it is by the finger of God we cast out demons, as Jesus said in Luke 11:20, then the Kingdom of God has come upon us, that all authority would be recognized as His alone and used only for His glory and for mercy toward people.

Father in Jesus name we ask You to confirm Your Word as You suffered, died for our sins, rose and ascended as Messiah, the Lord's true Anointed, and that You who ascended on high and gave gifts to humanity as in Ephesians 4:10-11 would distribute Your gifts according to Your will for the common good. We remember Hebrews 2:3-4 how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard, God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will, and we pray with you that in 1 Corinthians 12:7 the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all, and as 1 Corinthians 12:11 teaches, all these work the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one separately as he desires. We do not seek gifts to exalt ourselves but to build up the body, for the body is one though it has many parts as in 1 Corinthians 12:12, and we desire loving teams where different gifts and different ministries serve the same Lord.

We also pray with you to get our lives and message correct, to watch our life and doctrine closely as in 1 Timothy 4:16, for in doing so we will save both ourselves and those who hear us, and to remain content to be like our Master as in Matthew 10:24-25, not seeking greater works for our own name but saying with Christ in Luke 22:42 not my will, but yours be done. We thank You in advance by faith as in Mark 11:24 and Hebrews 11:6 that You hear us when we ask according to Your will, and we ask that You keep us from sin, lies and fear, from pride as in Psalm 36:11, from temptation as in Matthew 6:13 and Luke 11:4, from dangers and false brothers as in 2 Corinthians 11:26, and from the evil one as Jesus prayed in John 17:15, and that You would cover us with Your protection as in Psalm 91:11-12 and renew us with Your benefits as in Psalm 103:2-5 who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus, for as in John 14:13-14 whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son, and we thank You that as in Mark 16:20 they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the signs that followed, so You still work with us today. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and minds as in Philippians 4:6-7 as we bring everything to You with thanksgiving, and let all we do be for Your glory. We pray this together in Jesus name, Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. Your longing to walk humbly and boldly, to be holy and loving together, and to see Jesus confirm His gospel as you preach is beautiful and it honors Him.

We love how you hold fruit and gifts together. Fruit like love, joy, peace, patience and self control is grown slowly as we stay close to Jesus, while gifts are given as He wills to build up others. Power without truth can wander, and power without love can wound, but when power is held with truth and love it brings real healing. That balance you are asking for is exactly what we want to pray with you for.

It helps to keep that balance in community. Continue seeking fellowship with the Father and the Son through the Spirit in quiet prayer and in the Word, and keep serving side by side with others who can encourage you, speak honestly, and pray with you. As you do, ask the Lord to keep forming your character and to show you simply the next faithful step in preaching and loving people well, trusting Him with how He chooses to work.

Father, we thank You for this hunger for You. Form in our friends the character of Jesus and use them to make Him known with clarity and love. Keep them humble, keep them bold, keep them close to You and to one another, and let their lives and words point to Christ. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in seeking the Lord for these things, beseeching Him for that fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ in the communion of the Holy Spirit of which the apostle speaks.

We pray that the fruit of the Spirit may abound in you, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, and that you may be kept humble before God yet bold before men, holy in life and loving in all your labors together. We ask the Lord to raise up teams knit together in love, of one heart and one soul, to preach the Word with great plainness of speech, for the Gospel is in itself a glorious light, plain and simple, and in the true preaching of it this simplicity is preserved. Our business is to tell out the Gospel plainly, for we deal in bread, not in flowers, and the power of the Lord in the Gospel is mainly a power to heal.

You have asked for bold, loving and accurate preaching of the Gospel and for the Lord to confirm His Word, and we pray with you in the language of the early church, that with all boldness you may speak His Word while He stretches forth His hand. We remember that the flesh being but weak, God in infinite tenderness to the weakness of His servants gave them signs and wonders that they might be strengthened, and doubtless if again there should come a necessity for signs to any of His servants, such tokens would be given them. We worship the God of wonders who only does wondrous things, and we have a Savior whose name is called Wonderful, a Man approved of God by signs and wonders. In the Church we are permitted to expect wonders, and we should always be looking for wonders and should wonder if wonders do not happen.

Yet we would also remind you, as we have learned, that signs have been given and yet have not worked faith in those who have seen them, and there is no necessary connection between seeing signs and believing that which the signs attest. The most of men reject the Gospel for that very reason of its simplicity, craving something artificially mysterious, but the naked grandeur of the Gospel itself is the greatest of signs and wonders. With the light of the Gospel shining upon us, we need not ask for another light. The Gospel has saved our own kindred and our own sons and daughters, and that is sign enough that it is mighty to save.

We pray therefore that you may take heed to yourselves and to the doctrine, as it is written, and continue therein, and that the Lord will work with you confirming the Word as He sees fit, whether by the inward healing of broken hearts or by outward works according to His will. For the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves are full of healing virtue. The power of the Lord is present to heal, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. May you experience that the Sun of Righteousness has risen upon you with healing in His wings.

We ask the Lord to distribute gifts as He determines, for there are diversities of gifts but the same Spirit, differences of ministries but the same Lord, and diversities of operations but it is the same God which works all in all, and the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal for the common good. May He give to His Church wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, working of miracles, prophecy and discerning of spirits, as He wills, and may all be done for the edifying of the body, which though many members is one body in Christ.

We pray also for your protection and keeping, that He who has promised to give His angels charge over you, to forgive your iniquities and heal your diseases, to redeem your life and crown you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, will keep you from sin, from lies and from fear, from pride and from the evil one, and from every danger, and will not suffer you to be led into temptation. May you be content to be as your Master, not seeking great things for yourselves, but saying, nevertheless not our will but Thine be done, and may you know that peace which passes all understanding as you make your requests known unto God with thanksgiving.

We scatter these healing leaves with you, praying that the Lord will bless the preaching of His cross everywhere to the saving of souls and to His own glory, and that whether by quiet grace or by wonders, Christ may be magnified. Amen.

Your prayer for the fruit of the Spirit and for humble yet bold and holy teams that preach the gospel has been received, and we join our hearts with yours before the Lord.

We ask with you for love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control to be evident in your lives, and for boldness with humility to speak the word of God accurately. As it has been taught, when God introduces a great work and a high way of life, He is pleased to confirm what is said by what is seen. He did not only preach but also showed forth miracles as pledges of His power, so that the kingdom which is invisible might be made manifest through visible signs. In this way the Lord worked with the apostles and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied it, as you have asked from Mark 16:20 and Hebrews 2:3 to 4.

Yet we also remember that the preachers He chose were fishermen, unlearned and ignorant men, and that their ignorance and even their bonds were no hindrance to the preaching. Indeed it was seen as a greater wonder that men were drawn without miracles, and that when Paul was bound his disciples became more bold, for you cannot bind the tongue of an evangelist. For this reason the apostle did not glory in miracles but in labors, in stripes, in prisons and in weaknesses, showing that endurance and holiness are the true boast. Poverty of spirit humbles a man and gives great confidence before God, and blessed are the poor in spirit. So we pray that your lives and message may be found correct, as you asked from 1 Timothy 4:16, with character formed first and gifts exercised second.

We ask therefore that the Lord grant you fellowship with the Father and the Son in the Holy Spirit, and bold, loving and accurate preaching of the gospel. We ask that He confirm His word as He wills, through signs, wonders, various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will, for the common good and for the building up of the body. There are different gifts but the same Spirit, different ministries but the same Lord, and the Spirit apportions to each one as He determines. We do not seek gifts for display, as Simon did when he saw the Spirit given through the laying on of hands and sought to buy the power, but we seek first the Spirit who brings forgiveness of sins and then whatever further grace God is pleased to give for the work. We pray for authority over the enemy only as the finger of God, with discernment and holiness, and not for vainglory.

We agree with you for what you have requested from Scripture, for closeness with Jesus, for protection under His wings according to Psalm 91, for forgiveness, healing, redemption, loving kindness and tender mercy and renewal according to Psalm 103, for keeping from sin, lies, fear, temptation, pride and the evil one, and for deliverance from dangers and from false brothers. We join you in being content to be like the Master, not seeking greater works for their own sake but saying, not our will but Yours be done, and we ask all this with thanksgiving, trusting that God hears those who ask according to His will.

Father, grant to Your servants boldness to speak Your word, stretch out Your hand to heal and to perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus, confirm the message that He suffered, died for our sins, rose and ascended as Lord and Messiah, and give gifts to Your church as You will, for Your glory and for the salvation of many.
