Beloved of All
Fruit of Holy Spirit Gal 5:22-23, Humble yet Bold, Holy, Loving Teams: Preaching, Signs, Wonders Acts 4:29-30
🧎🏽‍♂️Jesus, we ask and agree for fellowship with the Father and You in the Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, 1 Jn 1:2-4, bold, loving & accurate preaching of The Gospel, and attesting miracles, Acts 14:3. Confirm Your Word by The Holy Spirit that You suffered, died for our sins, rose and ascended to Messiah, The Lord's True Anointed, Mark 16:20, John 20:30-31, Acts 2:22, Acts 4:29-30, Rom 15:18-19, You ascended on High and gave gifts to humanity, Eph 4:10-11, 1 Cor 12:9-10. Help us get our lives and message correct, 1 Tim 4:16, and confirm the Word with gifts, signs and wonders, as it is written, "This salvation was first announced by the Lord, was then confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 and was affirmed by God through signs, wonders, various using miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will," Heb 2:3-4.

1 Corinthians 12:4-12, "There are different gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are different ministries, but the same Lord. 6 There are different ways of working, but the same God works all things in all people. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in various tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines. 12 The body is a unit, though it is composed of many parts. And although its parts are many, they all form one body. So it is with Christ."

Thank You for the promises: relationship with You, Jesus, Rev 3:19-20, for protection, Ps 91:11-12, forgiveness, healing, redemption, loving-kindness and tender-mercies, renewing our youth as the eagle's, Ps 103:1-5, keeping us from sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and temptation, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, dangers of many kinds including false believers, 2 Cor 11:26, pride, Ps 36:11, and the evil one, John 17:15. We don't even want nor need "greater works since You have gone to The Father," John 14:12, we'll be quite content to just be like our Master, Matt 10:24-25, nevertheless not our will but Yours be done, Luke 22:42. Thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, in Jesus Name, John 14:13-14, again with thanksgiving we request this to partake of Your promised peace, Phil 4:6-7, and bless You for ALL Your benefits, Ps 103:2-5, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

Mark 16:20
"And they went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked through them, confirming His word by the signs that accompanied it."

We join you in this beautiful and scriptural longing and we say amen to your desire for both character and power to be formed in us together.

We love how you have put the fruit before the gifts, for that is the order of God. We are reminded that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law, Gal 5:22-23. Without this fruit, the gifts become clanging and empty, as 1Cor 13:1-2 teaches, but when love and holiness are the foundation, the gifts edify and truly serve the common good. We pray that we as teams and as individuals would be humble yet bold, for God gives grace to the humble, James 4:6, and yet He also calls us to speak His word with all boldness, Acts 4:29-30. That holy boldness is not arrogance but confidence in Jesus and in His finished work.

We agree with you for fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit, 1Jn 1:3, and for the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit to be with us all, 2Cor 13:14. We ask for loving, holy teams who preach the gospel accurately and faithfully, watching our life and doctrine closely to save both ourselves and our hearers, 1Tim 4:16. We ask that the Lord would grant to His servants to speak His word with boldness, while He stretches out His hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of His holy Servant Jesus, Acts 4:29-30, and that He would confirm His word by the signs that accompanied it, Mk 16:20.

We thank God that this salvation was first announced by the Lord, was then confirmed to us by those who heard Him, and was affirmed by God through signs, wonders, various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will, Heb 2:3-4. We rejoice that there are different gifts, but the same Spirit, different ministries, but the same Lord, and different ways of working, but the same God who works all things in all people, 1Cor 12:4-6. To each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good, 1Cor 12:7, not for self exaltation but to build up the body, for the body is a unit, though it is composed of many parts, and although its parts are many, they all form one body, so it is with Christ, 1Cor 12:12. We ask for that unity, that Christ would ascend on high and give gifts to His people through apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:10-11, and that gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, distinguishing between spirits, speaking in various tongues and interpretation of tongues would be apportioned by the one and the same Spirit as He determines, 1Cor 12:9-11, not as we demand.

We also agree for true authority over demons, knowing that if we cast out demons by the finger of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon us, Lk 11:20, and that this authority is only in submission to Jesus and in His name. We do not seek power for its own sake, but we seek to be like our Master, for it is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, Matt 10:24-25, and we echo your prayer, nevertheless not our will, but Yours, be done, Lk 22:42. Whether He grants greater works as in John 14:12 or simply calls us to faithful witness, we will be content and we will trust Him.

We lift up thanksgiving with you for the promises we have in Christ, for His fellowship even as He stands at the door and knocks, Rev 3:20, for His angels to guard us, Ps 91:11-12, for forgiveness, healing, redemption, loving kindness and tender mercies, and the renewing of our youth as the eagle's, Ps 103:1-5, Ps 103:2-5, for keeping us from sin and lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and from temptation, Lk 11:4, Matt 6:13, for deliverance from dangers and from false brothers, 2Cor 11:26, from pride, Ps 36:11, and from the evil one, John 17:15. We believe that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive, Mk 11:24, and that without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever comes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him, Heb 11:6. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, knowing that whatever we ask in His name He will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son, John 14:13-14, and we bring these requests with thanksgiving so that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7.

We pray together now, Father, we thank You for the Lord Jesus who suffered, died for our sins, rose and ascended as Messiah, the Lord's true Anointed, attested by signs and wonders, Acts 2:22, John 20:30-31. Confirm Your Word through us Your servants, grant us love and holiness that reflects Your Son, grant us bold and accurate preaching of the gospel, and affirm that gospel with healings, miracles, prophecy and deliverance as You will, Acts 14:3, Rom 15:18-19, for Your glory and for the salvation of many. Keep our lives and our message pure, keep us humble, keep us bold, keep us in loving fellowship as one body, and let all that we do be faithful to You until You come. We trust Your will and Your timing, and we thank You in advance, for every promise of God is Yes in Him, 2Cor 1:20, and He is the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, Rev 3:14. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We were encouraged reading your prayer and sensing your longing to know Jesus more deeply and to serve Him faithfully with others. Wanting to be both humble and bold, holy and loving, while sharing the gospel is a worthy desire, and we join you in asking God to shape both your lives and your message.

We have found it helpful to remember the Spirit forms us in character as well as equips us for ministry, and those belong together. Power without grounding in truth and without love can quickly go off track, but when power is held with truth and love, it brings real healing and builds up the body. Gifts are given differently to each person as the Spirit decides, for the good of all, while fruit like love, joy, peace and patience grows more slowly over time and shows Christ's likeness in us. Keeping that balance helps keep teams healthy and centered on Jesus rather than on experiences.

It can be steadying to keep pursuing this in community, staying rooted in prayer, Scripture and fellowship with a local church where you can be known, encouraged and gently sharpened by others who love Jesus and His Word.

We pray, Father thank You for the hunger You have placed in this heart for You. Draw them close to Yourself, deepen their fellowship with You, and form Your character more fully in them. Guide their team with wisdom and unity, keep them humble and faithful to Your Word, and lead each step according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have read your request with thankfulness, for it breathes a desire which God Himself must have wrought in you, a desire for holiness, for the fruit of the Spirit, and for the glory of Christ in the preaching of His Word.

You ask for what every faithful labourer must crave, that love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance may abound in you, and that with humble boldness you may speak the gospel aright. This is well, for a holy man is the workmanship of the Holy Spirit, and without Him there is no spiritual life at all. Until the Holy Spirit visits us we are dead in trespasses and sins, and no means of grace can save apart from His quickening power. How can any man become holy except by the Spirit of Holiness, or rightly pray except by His help.

You long for teams that are holy and loving, preaching with authority and seeing the Lord confirm His Word with signs following. We join you in asking the Lord to grant unto His servants that with all boldness they may speak His Word, as it is written, while He stretches forth His hand. Yet we would remind you of what the Spirit Himself teaches, that He will receive of Christ and show it unto us, for the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ. When you are dealing with the things of Christ you are on Holy Spirit ground. The whole blessed Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, must work upon every soul that is to be saved, and the Spirit apportions His manifestations to each one as He determines, for the common good, according to His own will.

Therefore let us pray not as those who would use the Spirit as a servant to our plans, but as those who entirely depend upon Him. We always need the Spirit of God in our preaching, and without Him there is no life and force and power. Let the preacher confess before he preaches that he relies upon the Holy Spirit, for unholiness of life grieves Him. The Holy Spirit is grieved by unbelief and by walking not according to the gospel, and He who has made the narrow heart of man His palace, though it be but a cottage, is vexed with unholiness because of His holy character. If we have the Holy Spirit He is God's seal upon us that we are His children, and we must not grieve Him and tear away the seal.

We also pray that you may know what it is to have the love of God shed abroad in your soul by the Holy Spirit, and to prove that God draws near in the day that you call upon Him, granting a sensible assurance of His sympathy and that deep calm which comes of the peace of God which passes all understanding. And we pray that you may pray in the Holy Spirit, by His power and through His help, for that prayer which is not in the Holy Spirit is in the flesh.

So now we commend you to the Lord in prayer. O Father, glorify Thy Son in the midst of Thy people. Pour out Thy Holy Spirit upon these Thy servants that they may watch their lives and doctrine closely, that they may be kept from sin and fear and pride and from the evil one, and that they may walk humbly and boldly before Thee. Grant them fellowship with the Father and with the Son by the Spirit, forgiveness and healing and tender mercy, and keep their hearts from being hardened when they hear Thy voice today. Teach them to speak Thy Word with accuracy and love, and confirm that Word as Thou wilt, by such signs and gifts as seem good in Thy sight, that Christ alone may be exalted. Make them content to be as their Master, and yet do Thy perfect will, distributing to each as Thou determinest for the building up of the body of Christ. Keep them praying always in the Holy Spirit, and let all they do glorify Jesus, in whose name we ask it. Amen.
