Father, may You help us get our lives and message correct, 1 Tim 4:16, and confirm the Word with gifts, signs and wonders, as it is written, "This salvation was first announced by the Lord, was then confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 and was affirmed by God through signs, wonders, various using miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will," Heb 2:3-4.

1 Corinthians 12:4-12, "There are different gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are different ministries, but the same Lord. 6 There are different ways of working, but the same God works all things in all people.

7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in various tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines. 12 The body is a unit, though it is composed of many parts. And although its parts are many, they all form one body. So it is with Christ."

Thank You for the promises of relationship with You, Jesus, Rev 3:19-20, for protection, Ps 91:11-12, Keeping us from sin, Zeph 3:13, and temptation, Matt 6:13, dangers of many kinds including deceivers, 2 Cor 11:26, pride, Ps 36:11, and the evil one, John 17:15. We don't even want nor need "greater works since You have gone to The Father," John 14:12, we'll be quite content to just be like our Master, Matt 10:24-25, nevertheless not our will but Yours be done, Luke 22:42. Thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, in Jesus Name, John 14:13-14, again with thanksgiving we request this to partake of Your promised peace, Phil 4:6-7, and bless You for ALL Your benefits, Ps 103:2-5, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join together with you in this beautiful and scripturally rich request and we say amen to your desire for both the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be evident in our lives and in the Body of Christ.

We love how you have asked for character before power, for humble yet bold and holy loving teams. This is the biblical order. The fruit of the Spirit must govern the gifts of the Spirit. For it is written, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Gal 5:22-23. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Gal 5:24. We are encouraged that you desire not to seek signs for their own sake or for personal exaltation, but that God would confirm His Word with signs following, just as it is written, They went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Mark 16:20. And again, how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard, God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will. Heb 2:3-4.

We also affirm your heart for team ministry and for bold, loving and accurate preaching of the Gospel. The early church prayed exactly as you are praying, Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus. Acts 4:29-30. And we agree that the Lord still affirms the message of His grace by enabling His servants to perform signs and wonders. Acts 14:3. We rejoice that you have centered all of this on the finished work of Jesus, that He suffered, died for our sins, rose and ascended as Messiah the Lord's true Anointed, and that He ascended on high and gave gifts to people. Eph 4:8. For there are various gifts, but the same Spirit. There are various services, and the same Lord. There are various workings, but the same God who works all things in all. 1 Cor 12:4-6. And to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all. 1 Cor 12:7. All these work the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one separately as he desires. 1 Cor 12:11.

We also hear your humble prayer, not seeking greater works for vainglory but being content to be like our Master, for it is written, It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. Matt 10:25. And we join your surrender, nevertheless not our will but Yours be done. Luke 22:42. We agree that we must first watch our life and doctrine closely, for it is written, Pay attention to yourself and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. 1 Tim 4:16. Character and correct message must come before confirming power.

We pray together now for you and for all who labor in the harvest.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come boldly to Your throne of grace. We thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit and for the promise that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us. We ask that You would deepen in us the fruit of Your Spirit, that love and joy and peace and patience and kindness and goodness and faithfulness and gentleness and self-control would abound in us and make us more like Jesus. Grant to Your servants to speak Your Word with complete boldness and accuracy, with love and humility and holiness, and stretch out Your hand to heal and to perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus, that the Gospel that Jesus died for our sins according to the Scriptures and rose again would be confirmed with power. We ask that You would build humble, holy, loving teams who preach Christ and not themselves, who walk in unity as one body with many members, who exercise the gifts You distribute according to Your will for the common good and for the edification of Your church. Give gifts of healing, workings of miracles, prophecy, distinguishing of spirits, and all that You desire, and give us wisdom to use them in love and order. Keep us from sin and temptation and from pride and from deceivers and from the evil one, for we pray as Jesus taught us to pray and as He prayed for us, that You would keep us from the evil one. John 17:15. We ask this not for our glory but for Yours, that Jesus would be lifted up and many would believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing they may have life in His name. John 20:31. Let all be done as You will, and we thank You in advance by faith, believing that whatever we ask in prayer we will receive. Mark 11:24. We receive Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7. We bless You for all Your benefits, who forgives all our iniquities, who heals all our diseases, who redeems our life from destruction, who crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies. Ps 103:2-4. We ask and agree for all of this together in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have access to You, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Amen.

We hear your hunger for Jesus to be seen and known, and for your life and your teams to reflect Him with humble courage, holiness and love. That desire to preach the gospel faithfully and to see God work in His own way is a beautiful thing to bring to Him, and we join you in it.

We love how you hold together both character and power. The Spirit slowly forms Christlike character in us, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and the rest, and He also equips each person differently for the good of the whole body, as He chooses. Gifts are given to serve others and point to Jesus, while fruit shows we are becoming like Him. Keeping truth and love together with power is what keeps ministry healthy and helpful over the long haul. We also hear the surrender in your prayer, wanting simply to be like the Master and to trust the Father's will above all. That is a good place to remain.

A simple next step that often helps is to keep walking this out in community. Continue meeting regularly with a few trusted believers to pray, stay in the Word together, and ask the Spirit to shape both your character and your service. That shared life and accountability helps keep boldness humble and love steady.

Father, shape us more into the likeness of Jesus, make our words true and loving, and work in Your wisdom and timing for Your glory. Teach us to walk in step with Your Spirit and to rest in Your nearness as we follow You. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and scriptural desire to seek that the Word of the Lord might run and be glorified, and I do heartily join you in this prayer before the throne of grace.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, as the Holy Spirit Himself encourages us to do, and ask that the Lord would grant unto His servants boldness to speak His Word faithfully and in love. You have asked well for the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control, and for humble, holy and loving laborers. Remember that this fruit is one, and it is the work of the Holy Spirit alone. A holy man is the workmanship of the Holy Spirit, and without holiness no one shall see the Lord. We must not be content with a cold morality, but must pray that the Spirit of Holiness would renew us, make us to hate evil and cleave to that which is good, and keep us walking in step with the Spirit.

You have also prayed that the Lord would confirm His Word with signs and wonders, as it is written that they went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked through them, confirming His word by the signs that accompanied it, and that salvation was affirmed by God through signs, wonders, various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will. This is a right prayer when offered with submission, not our will but His be done. The Holy Spirit apportions to each one as He determines, for the common good and for the building up of the body of Christ. He usually works by means, and holy fear and faith come by hearing the Word, so let us be diligent in hearing and preaching the Word, and leave the manner of His confirming work to His sovereign wisdom.

May the Lord grant you and those who labor with you to be kept from sin, from pride, from temptation and from the evil one, and to be preserved in practical holiness, which is the opposite of impurity, for God has not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness. May He make you to pine after holiness and pant after conformity to Christ, and may He give you that boldness which is hopeful and humble, trusting not in your own utterance but in the Holy Spirit who knows the mind of God and teaches us how to pray.

So I pray with you, Father, grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your Word, as You stretch out Your hand to heal and to work according to Your will, for the glory of Your holy servant Jesus, who suffered, died for our sins, rose and ascended on high. Give gifts as You will, but above all give the grace to get our lives and message correct, to preach Christ crucified and risen with accuracy and love, and to bear much fruit to Your praise.
