Frightening Future

Future is supposed to be exciting for we all do not know what it may bring us.... Just like presents, we feel so much excited whenever we receive gifts because we don't know what's inside and whatever it is, we are supposed to appreciate it. The future is somewhat our gift to ourselves, but sometimes due to some unavoidable circumstances, we cannot give ourselves the future that we were expecting. In this case, I have to bear in mind that God is in control and He knows what is going on and what is best for me. I am scared and I couldn't help it. My heart is breaking into pieces whenever I think about what I might be facing in the next couple of days. I am like walking in the darkness and I couldn't find a tiny bit of light. I pray that God would free me from this blackness soon....

Lord, I pray that You speak comfort to Your son and envelop him in Your Love. I pray You give him guidance and the gift of being able to focus on You in all circumstances. In Jesus Name. Amen

Father, I lift this one in prayer to You today, and ask for Your favor upon his life. Lord, this world all too often has this effect upon us, making us sad and defeated when we look at all the uncertainty around us. Lord, You hold the future in Your hands, and our lives in Your control. Father, instill in us the absolute knowledge that there is nothing that escapes Your gaze, and all things are controled by You. Give us the strength to rely upon Your goodness, Your provisions, Your faithfulness to be there beside us, eading us to the victory that You have already destined for every single person who believes in You and calls upon Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
