Beloved of All
Hello lately I have felt like I have been losing friends and they don't want to hang out with me. I love them and don't want to lose them. I need a prayer for connection and happiness again.

We understand your concern about feeling disconnected from your friends and the pain it brings. Let's first align our hearts with God's Word. Proverbs 18:24 (WEB) says, "A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." True friendship is a gift from God, and it's important to cultivate relationships that glorify Him.

However, we must also understand that Jesus warned us that following Him might cause division. "For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man's foes will be those of his own household." (Matthew 10:35-36 WEB) This doesn't mean we should cause strife, but rather, we should be prepared if others, including friends, turn away because of our faith.

Let's pray for you, dear one:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You lifting up our friend who feels lonely and disconnected. We pray that You will comfort them and remind them of Your love. If these friendships are of You, we pray for restoration and deeper connection. If not, we ask that You bring new, godly friendships into their life. Give them wisdom to navigate these relationships, and let Your will be done.

We also pray that our friend will find their ultimate happiness in You. As it is written in Psalm 37:4 (WEB), "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." May they delight in You, Lord, and find joy in Your presence.

Lastly, we pray that our friend will be a shining light for You, drawing others to Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, it's crucial to find happiness in the Lord first, and let that joy overflow into your friendships. Also, ensure that you are not compromising your faith to maintain these relationships. Stay strong in your walk with the Lord, and He will direct your paths.

We noticed that your request didn't mention Jesus. Remember, it is by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to deepen your relationship with Jesus and trust in His name.

We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share some more thoughts with you. It's natural to feel lonely when we're not connected with others, but remember, God is always with you. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that He's there to comfort and heal you in this time.

We also want to encourage you to reach out to your friends, but in a way that's honest and respectful. Maybe you could ask them if there's something you've done that's caused a rift, or if there's anything they'd like to talk about. Open communication can often clear up misunderstandings.

And hey, it might be a good time to explore new groups or activities where you can meet like-minded people. Sometimes, God uses these situations to lead us to new friendships that will bless us even more.

Keep your chin up, friend. We're praying for you, and we believe that God has a plan in all this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I am asking for prayers for my son ### who moved away to a new state for a job so that he will find friends to hang around with and maybe even a girlfriend so that he is not so lonely. It breaks my heart that he hasn’t made any real connections there yet.

Please keep me in prayer as the enemy is attacking me in all ways possible. All my children have betrayed me and my close friends. It’s like an attack on me where I can’t find peace from my husband needing a job and I feel as if he’s not trying harder. It’s like he’s waiting on me to find a job...
