Friends Restored

Friend relationships that were on the previous version of the site have been restored.

They will now show up as someone who follows you (your followers) and that you follow (you are following).

You can follow other members from their profile page when you visit it.

I have also put two options in the menu to find all the people that you follow (following) and who follow you (followers). They are in the members menu and the settings menu.

You can adjust notifications for each person you are following and also manage the relationship itself. You can also edit your overall notifications in the settings menu using the notifications link.

Private chat will also now use these relationships for who it shows in your private chat user list. Group chat will still show everyone.

HI

THANK you for restoring quick reply!!!!! It is so beautiful!

Sorry not sure where to ask this, but will previous prayer requests be visible from years ago? You would not believe how many have been answered and I love to go back and review how thankful I need to remember to be and how confident I should be in God. I will keep looking because I may have not found it since I haven't been on for a few days and I know you have been working on things. thanks!!!!!!

Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Yes, they are all there. You can only use the search box for the last 6 months but you can browse your requests by clicking on the My Requests menu option under Prayers at the top of any page. You can also browse everything from everyone at the Prayers - All Requests menu.

This is a screen shot of the area that has these links at the top of each page.

Psalm, Go to your Profile, click on Activity, then click on Topics, and you will see your old Prayer Requests.

Yes, the link in the Menu for Prayers - My Requests is actually just a shortcut to that same page, and also sorts it in descending order. It should save a few clicks. Either way works.

I've also put links to this on the top and side and bottom of many pages including the chat bar.

Thank you so much for all that you do on this website. It certainly has been a blessing to meet some of the people on here, as they have provided some awesome guidance and prayers on my behalf. May you have a blessed day.

To receive an email notification when someone prays for you, you can follow these general steps, though the exact process may vary depending on the platform or service you are using:

1. **Sign Up for the Service**: Ensure you are registered on the platform where people are submitting prayer requests for you.

2. **Profile Settings**: Log in to your account and navigate to your profile or account settings.

3. **Notification Preferences**: Look for a section related to notifications or email preferences.

4. **Enable Email Notifications**: Enable or check the option for receiving email notifications for prayer requests or mentions.

5. **Verify Email Address**: Make sure your email address is correctly entered and verified in your account settings.

6. **Save Changes**: Save any changes you make to your notification settings.

If you are using a specific app or website, you may find detailed instructions in their help or support section. If you have any issues, contacting their customer support can also be helpful.
