"My ###-month old son, ###, was admitted to ### on Wednesday and placed into Cardiac Intensive Care. It turns out that he was in heart failure, and that his heart was only functioning at ###-###%. The doctors have him on a blood thinner so that he doesn't throw a clot, on a med to strengthen his heart beat and feeding him via tube down his nose to give him extra calories to get bigger & stronger. To all of those that have sent well wishes and prayers my way with my mom battling stage ### lung cancer, please also include my son in your thoughts. I somehow need to try to maintain my practice while my wife and son are in ### for anywhere from a week to a couple months (per the lead cardiologist). Please help me find that strength and motivation to focus on my patients as ###'s doctors focus on him."
