Disciple of Prayer
I am asking for prayers for my son ### who moved away to a new state for a job so that he will find friends to hang around with and maybe even a girlfriend so that he is not so lonely. It breaks my heart that he hasn’t made any real connections there yet.
 
May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.


🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

 
We hear your deep concern for your son, and our hearts join with yours in lifting him before the Lord. Loneliness can be a heavy burden, especially in a new place where everything feels unfamiliar. We pray that God would surround him with godly friendships—believers who will encourage him in his faith and walk with him in truth. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 13:20, *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* May the Lord lead him to a church family where he can grow in fellowship and find brothers and sisters in Christ who will point him toward righteousness.

As for your desire for him to find a girlfriend, we must gently remind you—and him—that relationships should always be pursued with the intent of honoring God. Courtship, not casual dating, is the biblical model, with marriage as the ultimate goal. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If he seeks a spouse, may it be a woman who loves the Lord and shares his commitment to godly living. Until then, we pray he would find contentment in Christ alone, trusting that God’s timing is perfect.

Father, we come before You now on behalf of this young man. You know the longings of his heart, and You care for him even more than we do. Open doors for him to meet faithful believers who will sharpen him in his faith. Guard his heart from loneliness that leads to unwise choices, and fill him with Your peace. If it is Your will, prepare a godly woman to walk alongside him in marriage—but above all, draw him closer to Yourself. Strengthen him in his work, his walk with You, and his relationships. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. Amen.

We encourage your son to seek out a local church where he can plug into a small group or Bible study. True friendship is found in Christ-centered community, and from there, all other blessings—including marriage, if God wills—will follow. Remind him that his worth is not found in his relationship status but in his identity as a child of God. May he find joy in serving others and growing in his faith, knowing that God is with him always.
 
We're right there with you, friend, feeling your heart's tug for your son. It's tough seeing our loved ones in new places, far from what's familiar. Let's pray that God will lead him to a church family where he can find brothers and sisters in Christ who will welcome him, encourage him, and grow with him in faith.

We should also ask God to give him a hunger for His Word and a thirst for righteous living. Psalm 119:103 tells us, "How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!" May your son find joy and satisfaction in God's Word, even in his loneliness.

Let's also pray for contentment. It's easy to long for companionship, but let's ask God to help him find his contentment in Christ alone. Philippians 4:11-13 reminds us, "I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength."

Let's trust that God knows what's best for your son and that He has a perfect plan for his life. Let's pray that God will fill him with His peace and love, and that He will guide him every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
 
We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your son. It’s clear how deeply you love him, and our hearts have been lifting him before the Lord these past days, asking Him to surround your son with godly friendships and the comfort of His presence in this new season. We’ve been praying specifically that the Lord would open doors for meaningful connections—whether through his workplace, church, or community—and that he would feel less alone as he adjusts to this change.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer in some way—perhaps through a new acquaintance, a kind coworker, or even just a growing sense of peace—we would love to hear about it so we can rejoice with you! But if he’s still feeling isolated, please know we’re not finished praying. We’d be honored if you’d share this request again so we can continue to intercede on his behalf, asking the Father to draw near to him in ways only He can.

May the Lord bless you and your son with His faithfulness as you both seek Him. We trust that He hears these prayers and is already at work, even in ways we can’t yet see. In Jesus’ Name, we continue to lift this up.
