friends don't understand

I have recently realized how much I need the Lord in my life. I asked his forgiveness of my sins, and have changed my life. Now friends are commenting on me becoming "religious". They are acting like it's crazy or something. I will not let their actions and comments change my way of life, it has been for the better, the Lord has blessed me in so many ways that they just wouldn't understand. Please pray with me that my 'friends' will not make my new life difficult. I feel that my relationship with God is a personal one, and it is mine.

Lord, I pray for her to keep strong in her faith and not let her friends influence her walk with You. Rather, Lord, I pray for her to be an influence upon them and for them to see the joy and peace that she has in her life. It's a hard truth, but people who have not given their life over to You do not understand because they are still blind to the truth, only after circumcising their hearts will they be led by the Spirit, and their eyes opened. I praise You for opening her eyes, allowing her to see Your glory, and to be an inspiration to those around her. In Jesus' name, Amen.
