James 5 is more of a sin sick kind of sickness in which I have personally been involved with where we are to confess our sins that we have committed that separated us from God. Have you committed adultery, fornication or idolatry? Those sins can cause you to become sin sick. If you aren't sin sick than you personally have the same power as Jesus and you can simply tell the sickness to leave not continue to claim it
