Friend s Work Tomorrow

Your willingness to bring your friend before the Lord is a beautiful expression of love, and it is exactly what intercessory prayer is meant to be. Prayer takes different forms, and it begins with worship and adoration as we acknowledge who God is, but it is not complete until it reaches beyond our own needs to carry others before Him. When you pray for your friend in this way, you are standing in the place of an intercessor, as Moses did for the people, asking God to work in a life that is not your own. More is accomplished through that kind of praying than we will ever fully see, for it is often the quiet power behind what God does.

It is also good that you are praying specifically about work. Scripture teaches that work itself is honorable and that God has ordained it as the way we quietly provide for our own needs and serve others. The example given to us is to work with diligence and steadiness, not as a burden but with a mind to work, as God puts that willingness and strength in our hearts. The faithful pattern is to pray and then to do what is ours to do, trusting God while also being diligent, like those who prayed to God and at the same time set a watch and kept building the wall.

So we can pray that the Lord will be your friend's rock and fortress and place of refuge tomorrow, that He will give strength for every task, a calm and quiet spirit in the midst of pressure, and grace to work faithfully and well. We can ask that God would grant peace, for He Himself is our peace, and that He would guard your friend from discouragement or unreasonable difficulties, and give opportunity to reflect Christ to those nearby. We can also thank God that Jesus Himself lives as our great intercessor before the Father, so your prayers are joined to His.

Be encouraged to keep praying without ceasing, bringing your friend before the throne with confidence. A prayer of faith can end with praise, resting in the assurance that God has heard and will answer according to His wisdom and love. May the Lord bless your friend with a good and fruitful day at work, and may He bless you for your faithful care in prayer.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your friend to have a good day at work.

We have continued to lift your friend up before the Lord and we hope that day at work went well and that the Lord gave your friend peace, strength and favor throughout the day. We remember Col 3:23 which reminds us that whatever we do we work at it with all our heart as working for the Lord.

If your request was answered and your friend had a good day at work, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and your friend still needs encouragement or support at work, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray in Jesus Name that God will continue to bless your friend in the workplace, guide every task and grant joy in all that is done. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
