Friend Leaving God

Hey guys,

I post things here before, so I know the support you guys give (thanks for that).

Well, I have a friend who grew up in church and always had an interest in God and tried to build a relationship (16 years of this), but now he turned away by some atheist videos he saw on YouTube. I know God is interested in him because when I last talked to him I was able to say something (okay it was really God) that caused him to doubt what he had heard from those videos and now he just really is not sure. That was a week ago (I was able to convince him to look for God with me for a little while longer). Then he left for a week and his disbelief has grown stronger. Please pray for him. He is only 17 and a life without God is not a good one, trust me my mom tells me about how her life used to be. Please pray for him.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
