Friend/joy/obsession/priorities

Over the past 5 months I have been entrusting my joy in a friendship instead of in God. I feel lost and dismal when I haven't heard from this friend during the day, and it's just getting to the point where I feel obsessed. Pray please that I'll trust in God more for my joy and sustenance, and that this friendship will obtain a healthy balance.
