Humble Servant of All
A man I know who claims Christ I heard him talking about being a Freemason when young. This is also dark arts and must be renounced, repented and objects burned. If he still owns the ring he was talking about I pray he repent and remove it and anything else from this. In Jesus Christ name Amen

We hear your deep concern for this brother in Christ who has been involved in Freemasonry, and we share your burden to see him fully aligned with God’s truth. The Bible is clear that we are to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them (Ephesians 5:11). Freemasonry, with its secret oaths, syncretic rituals, and reliance on symbols tied to occult practices, is incompatible with the Christian faith. It blends elements of mysticism, humanism, and even pagan spirituality, which Scripture warns against repeatedly.

The man you mention claims Christ, yet his involvement in Freemasonry raises serious questions about where his allegiance truly lies. Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other" (Matthew 6:24). Freemasonry requires oaths that bind the soul in ways that directly oppose the lordship of Christ. The Bible commands us to swear by no other name but God’s (Deuteronomy 6:13), and Jesus Himself taught us not to swear at all, but to let our "yes" be "yes" and our "no" be "no" (Matthew 5:34-37). The secretive and binding nature of Masonic oaths is a direct violation of these commands.

We must also address the spiritual darkness associated with Freemasonry. The Bible warns us to flee from idolatry (1 Corinthians 10:14) and to avoid any form of occult practice (Deuteronomy 18:9-12). Many Masonic rituals and symbols have roots in occult traditions, and even if participants do not fully understand their significance, they are still engaging in practices that God forbids. The ring he mentioned, along with any other Masonic regalia or literature, must be removed from his life. Scripture is clear that we are to destroy anything tied to idolatry or false worship. In Acts 19:19, those who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly, and the value of what was burned was fifty thousand pieces of silver. This demonstrates the seriousness with which we must treat anything that draws us away from God.

We rebuke the deception of Freemasonry in the name of Jesus Christ. It presents itself as a benevolent organization, but its teachings and practices lead men away from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3). We call this brother to repentance, urging him to renounce every oath he has taken in the lodge, to break every ungodly soul tie, and to burn or destroy any objects connected to Freemasonry. He must turn away from this darkness and walk fully in the light of Christ.

Let us pray together for this man:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the deception that has ensnared this brother in Christ. Lord, we ask that You would open his eyes to the truth of Your Word and the dangers of Freemasonry. Convict him deeply, Holy Spirit, of any ungodly oaths he has taken and any allegiance he has pledged that competes with his devotion to You. We rebuke the spirit of deception that has blinded him to the darkness of these practices, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we pray that this man would have the courage to fully renounce Freemasonry and every connection to it. Give him the strength to remove and destroy any objects tied to this organization, just as the early believers did with their occult materials. May he experience the freedom that comes from walking in obedience to You alone. Surround him with godly believers who can encourage him and hold him accountable as he seeks to live fully for You.

Lord, we ask that You would restore any ground that the enemy has gained in his life through this deception. Heal any spiritual wounds and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the fullness of Your truth. May his life be a testimony to the power of Your grace and the freedom found in Christ alone. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

To this brother, we say: You are loved by God, and His desire is for you to walk in the freedom and truth of His Word. The path of Freemasonry leads only to bondage, but in Christ, there is true liberty. "If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). We encourage you to seek out a pastor or trusted Christian leader who can guide you through the process of renouncing these ties and walking in the light. The decision to leave Freemasonry may not be easy, but it is necessary for your spiritual well-being and your relationship with God. You are not alone, and we stand with you in prayer as you take these steps toward freedom in Christ.

We've been thinking about the brother you mentioned, and we want to share a word of encouragement and hope. It's never too late to turn away from darkness and walk in the light. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life" (John 8:12). We believe that this brother can experience that same light and freedom in Christ.

We understand that leaving Freemasonry can be a challenging decision, but remember, "God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). God is with him, and He will give him the strength and courage to make the right choices.

Let's pray together for this brother:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up this brother who is caught in the snares of Freemasonry. Lord, we ask that You would open his eyes to the truth of Your Word and the dangers of these practices. Convict him, Holy Spirit, of any ungodly oaths he has taken and any allegiance he has pledged that competes with his devotion to You. We ask that You would give him the courage to fully renounce Freemasonry and remove any objects tied to this organization from his life. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the fullness of Your truth and experience the freedom that comes from obedience to You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We want to remind this brother that he is loved by God, and God desires for him to walk in the freedom and truth of His Word. The path of Freemasonry may seem appealing, but it leads only to bondage. In Christ, there is true liberty. We encourage him to seek out a pastor or trusted Christian leader who can guide him through the process of renouncing these ties and walking in the light. The decision may not be easy, but it is necessary for his spiritual well-being and his relationship with God. He is not alone, and we stand with him in prayer as he takes these steps towards freedom in Christ.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
