We hear your cry for freedom, protection, and blessing over your life, your children, and your pets. Your words carry a deep longing for peace, safety, and God’s favor, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting these needs before the throne of grace. However, we must address some concerns in your declaration with biblical truth and correction, so that your prayers align with God’s will and His Word.

First, we must rebuke the language of control, demanding, and "speaking into existence" as if we are gods ourselves. Scripture makes it clear that God alone is sovereign and holds all authority. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10 WEB). We do not decree or demand as if we have power apart from God; rather, we humbly submit to His will and ask in faith. The power is not in our words alone, but in the name of Jesus and the authority He has given us as believers. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8 WEB). Our confidence is in Christ, not in our own declarations.

We also must address the binding of Satan and demons. While Scripture does give believers authority over the enemy in Jesus’ name, we must be careful not to engage in spiritual warfare with flippancy or presumption. Jesus said, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you" (Luke 10:19 WEB). However, this authority is exercised in humility, not in boastful or exaggerated language. We do not "bind" Satan ourselves; we resist him by standing firm in faith, submitting to God, and trusting in Christ’s victory. "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). The blood of Jesus has already defeated Satan, and our role is to walk in that victory, not to try to claim it through our own strength or words.

Your desire for uncommon favor, harmony, peace, and a safe place to stay is beautiful and aligns with God’s heart for you. We know that God "is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). But we must remember that God’s favor is not earned through our declarations; it is a gift of His grace. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8 WEB). We encourage you to seek God’s will in these areas, trusting that He knows what is best for you and your children.

We also notice that your prayer does not explicitly acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord or invoke His name in a way that aligns with Scripture. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6 WEB). Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and it is His name that carries power. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. This is the foundation of true freedom and peace.

Let us now pray together in alignment with God’s Word:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We lift up this dear one and her children, asking for Your protection, provision, and peace to surround them. Lord, You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). We ask that You would create a safe and stable place for them to dwell, a home where Your presence is felt and Your peace reigns.

Father, we rebuke any schemes of the enemy that seek to harm or oppress this family. We stand on the truth that "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB), and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We ask that You would blind the eyes of any who seek to harm them and turn their hearts away from evil. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB).

Lord, we pray for uncommon favor to rest upon this family. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your blessings chase after them (Deuteronomy 28:2 WEB). Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB), and let them experience the fullness of Your love and grace. Heal any broken relationships and bring harmony into their lives, that they may live in unity and peace.

Father, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You. Let them seek Your face daily, and may their hearts be fully surrendered to Your will. If there is any area of their lives that does not align with Your Word, reveal it to them and give them the strength to walk in obedience. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB).

We pray for the children, that You would guard their hearts and minds. Let them grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52 WEB). Protect them from the influences of this world, and draw them into a deep and personal relationship with You. May they come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, if they have not already, and walk in the freedom that only He can provide.

Lord, we thank You for the blood of Jesus, which has already secured victory over sin, death, and the enemy. We stand on that victory today, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of life that You have promised.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God in prayer, but to do so with humility and trust in His sovereignty. Spend time in His Word, for "your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray with you, for "where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them" (Matthew 18:20 WEB). God hears your prayers, and He is faithful to answer according to His perfect will. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

We hear how urgently you're crying out for freedom and a safe, peaceful place for you, your three offspring, and your pets. That longing for a haven, a place where your hearts' desires are met and harmony settles in, is something we're holding with you today.

When the spiritual battle feels that loud and relentless, it can be tempting to think we have to muster enough declarations to force a breakthrough. But lasting peace often grows more quietly. It comes less from a one-time decree and more from steady, daily dependence on the Helper Jesus already sent, the Holy Spirit, who abides with us, teaches us, and quiets the noise. You don't have to sustain your freedom by sheer force of will. Small, repeated steps of trust, pausing right now to simply breathe and remember you're not forgotten, begin to anchor a restless heart. Sometimes the most powerful thing we do is stop striving long enough to let His peace settle in the silence.

This afternoon, even for five minutes, find a quiet spot and don't bring a list of things to declare. Just sit, let your shoulders drop, and picture yourself handing each fear, for your offspring, for your pets, for the unknown, into His hands. Let His presence be the safe place while you wait for the physical one you're dreaming of.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this parent and their household right now. You see the weight they're carrying and the fierce desire for safety and peace. Cover each one of them, this writer, their three children, and those beloved pets, with Your protection. Still the noise of the enemy. Silence the voices of fear. And lead them, step by practical step, to the shelter You're preparing, a place where rest replaces striving and Your love is the atmosphere. Bring trustworthy people alongside them who can help carry the load. Thank You that freedom doesn't rest on our own strength but on Your finished work. In Jesus' name.

When the soul cries out with such intensity, it is well to remember that peace is not wrought by our own commands, but by resting in the finished work of the Lord Jesus. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within; that is a better word than all the decrees we might utter. He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat, not because we demand it with loud shouts, but because we trust in Him whose mind is stayed upon His people. You cannot bind Satan by your own word likened to a spell; it is Christ who hath bound the strong man and spoileth his house.

Cast yourself upon the Deliverer who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. The Lord is a safe shelter; under His wings shalt thou trust, and there is homeliness and heart-working love. He sendeth forth His commandment upon earth, and His word runneth very swiftly; He is the one who bringeth forth His own out of the pit, for He hath found a ransom. Your future may be unknown, but Jesus we know, and He is on the throne.

Pour out your heart before Him, and then hold your peace, for your deliverance must come from the right hand of the Most High. He will take you Home in a heavenly way, sending such a chariot as shall be most suitable. Lean not upon your own declarations, but upon His faithful promise, and you shall find that being justified by faith, you have peace with God. The Lord is careful to keep His own, and He will bring you forth with silver and gold, and there shall not be one feeble among your tribes.

Only trust, and be still.

You claim to bind Satan, yet you speak as one who has already been bound by a different spirit, the spirit that mistakes the volume of demand for the voice of faith. The Apostle shows us a faith that did not shout decrees into the air but “accounted that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead.” This was a faith that heard a command contrary to the promise and yet was not disturbed, doing the hard thing as if it were in harmony, because by human reckoning it was opposed, but by faith it was joined perfectly. Where is this quiet accounting in your long litany of demands?

You seek peace and harmony, which is the mother of all good things. But consider well what peace truly is. It is not merely the absence of enemies. For the physician preserves the body by cutting off the incurable part, and the general brings peace by separating those conspiring to do evil. Concord among thieves is not a good to be desired. The peace that Christ gives, which prepares the way for love, can only exist where the diseased and mutinous within our own souls are first removed. You demand a safe place and hearts’ desires, but if the heart itself is not first set at rest and all its thoughts brought into order, true peace cannot exist there, no matter how safe the walls around you.

You speak much of claiming and controlling, but observe the tabernacle of which Christ is a minister. You wish to edit your circumstances into existence; the faithful do not command the architect but become servants themselves. The peacemakers are called sons of God because the Son of God came to set at peace the things in earth and heaven. This is a work of humble reconciliation, not a shout of conquest. He did not come demanding what was owed to Him, but giving what we did not deserve.

Think on your own declarations. You bind demons and demand they forget you, yet you then ask for uncommon favor to be liked and loved. Do you not see the contradiction? You imitate what your own words condemn. You speak with hostility against a “crew” of enemies and scouts, then in the same breath demand harmony. The ones who condemned the prophets built their tombs and claimed they would not have participated, yet they proved themselves the children of those murderers by their very actions. Do not do worse while claiming to be better.

Lay aside this frenzy of decrees. The only voice that causes demons to flee is the one spoken in true faith, not the one multiplied by many words and capital letters. The peace for which you long begins not with the absence of your perceived enemies, but with the cutting off of that mutinous spirit within you that thinks God’s gifts can be seized by force. Seek first that reconciliation, the good will toward men proclaimed by the angels, and all other things shall find their proper order, whether they come as a dream fulfilled or as a cross appointed by One who knows what true freedom means.
