Beloved of All
We join you in prayer today for your older daughter and for your whole family, and we thank you for sharing this heavy burden so openly. Your longing to see her walk in freedom, clarity and peace is right and good, and we stand with you in asking the Lord to work powerfully in her mind, heart and spirit.
We agree with you that living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and that God has designed marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with intimate life and shared home belonging within that covenant. A beautiful courtship that honors God, respects purity, and seeks His will is far better and more peaceful than a hasty arrangement that brings exhaustion, financial strain, division and isolation. We will not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we do ask Him to deliver and restore.
We pray now for your daughter, that God will grant her supernatural clarity and courage today. May the Lord open her eyes to see where the chaos, hardship and spiritual oppression are coming from, and to recognize that control, laziness, greed, dishonesty and manipulation are not love. We pray she will see that she is being used rather than cherished, and that no man or his family should take the place that belongs to God, to her family of faith, and to the purpose God has given her in her work. Like the woman whose faith made her whole, may she hear Christ call her daughter and say be of good cheer, and may her faith make her strong to step away swiftly and completely without regret.
We pray that she will remember the biblical values she was raised with, that she will stop looking to this young man and his mother for guidance, and that she will turn again to the Lord who says you are Mine, you are My daughter, you belong to Me and I will protect you. May she hear Him whisper to walk away, to trust Him and to trust the family He gave her, knowing He will provide, protect and restore everything that has been taken. We ask that God will guide her to move back home in peace, and to restore her faith, freedom, self worth, independence, joy and fellowship with those who love her. We pray she will desire a husband who will truly be a husband and protector, a man of piety, gentleness and fear of God, rather than wealth or appearance, and that she will wait for the kind of courtship you have seen modeled in her sister's life.
We also pray for you and your household, that the Lord will deliver you from evil and confirm you as His children through Christ, filling every part of your lives with His Holy Spirit. May He saturate your home with peace, love, favor, protection, respect and healing, and guard you from further spiritual attack and division. May He give you wisdom to keep speaking truth in love, to pray without ceasing, and to trust Him even when change seems slow, remembering that a thoughtful and willing heart is needed to receive what God wants to do.
We will continue to join you in asking for breakthrough, that your daughter will be set free, that your family will be united, and that God will be honored in all your relationships. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and hope, we pray. Amen.
