Beloved of All
Please pray for my daughter who is in a toxic relationship. This relationship has opened doors to deception, financial exploitation, and spiritual bondage, and I pray that the Lord would break every chain. Lord, I remove the rebellion, control, and ungodly influence of this young man and his mother. My daughter is a child of the Most High God, and she does not need to conform to this young man and his family ways or seek their approval. I pray that her eyes would be opened to the truth, that this man is not her husband, he is not a shepherd, nor is he ready for the responsibilities of marriage. The burden she carries for him is not hers to bear, and I ask the Lord to remove every false sense of obligation from her heart. Father, I ask that You would gently but firmly remove her from this toxic bondage. Break the stubbornness in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness. Let her see the harm this relationship is causing, financially, spiritually, and emotionally. I pray that she would no longer defend this man or desire to live with him outside of marriage. Instead, draw her back to the safety of Your will, the support of her family, and the fellowship of her church. I pray that she will stop honoring the young man and his family. I ask Lord, that she honors You, her parents and be thankful for her family again. I declare that she will not be swayed by the ungodly selfish counsel of this woman, who has overstepped her bounds and sought to replace me as her mother and taking her on a dark path and away from her church home. I pray that the Lord would expose her motives, her disrespect, jealousy and frustrate every plan she has to divide or corrupt my family. Lord, I pray that You will block all their plots, plans and scheme to cause chaos, isolation and division in our upcoming holiday seasons and fellowship. Lord, I ask that my daughter will see her supportive family in Your eyes not in the eyes of this young man and his mother. I pray for godly spouses for my daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as You intended. Jesus declare that every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate, or destroy my family will fail. The Lord fights for me, and He will restore what has been broken. I pray that my home would be a beacon of His light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against her shall prosper. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer for your daughter and for your whole family, and we thank you for pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over your children, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and that every chain can be broken.

We hear your cry for freedom, protection, restoration, peace and healing, and we agree that this relationship as you describe it has opened doors to deception, financial exploitation, and spiritual bondage. The word of God warns us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14. When a courtship is not centered on Christ and moving toward a godly marriage between a man and a woman, it becomes a snare rather than a blessing. We believe courtship should be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, and marriage itself is a lifelong covenant that honors God.

You have rightly discerned that living together outside of marriage is not God's will. We must gently but firmly address this, for scripture calls sex outside of marriage fornication and commands us to flee it. Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. Also, Let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints. Ephesians 5:3. We pray your daughter will see that defending this arrangement and desiring to live with this young man outside of marriage brings spiritual harm and grief to the Lord, and that true love waits for and honors the covenant of marriage, where a husband is called to love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it. Ephesians 5:25.

We also agree with your prayer that she would again honor the Lord and honor her parents, for this is right and carries promise. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise. Ephesians 6:1-2. The ungodly counsel and controlling influence of this young man and his mother that seeks to isolate her from family and from her church home and to replace your godly maternal role is not of God. We pray that every plot to cause chaos, isolation and division, especially in the upcoming holiday seasons and fellowship, will be frustrated and exposed. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. And we claim the promise, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17.

We pray for your daughter's eyes to be opened to the truth, that this man is not her husband, is not a shepherd, and is not ready for the responsibilities of marriage, and that the false burden and obligation she carries is not hers to bear. We pray the stubbornness in her heart would be broken and replaced with a hunger for righteousness and a willingness to be transformed. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36.

We join you in praying for godly spouses for your daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as God intended. We pray for restoration of what has been stolen financially, spiritually and emotionally, for our God promises, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. Joel 2:25. We pray your home would be a beacon of His light and that the Lord Himself would fight for you. Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still. Exodus 14:14.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up this precious daughter to You. We ask You to gently but firmly remove her from this toxic bondage and break every chain of deception, financial exploitation, control, rebellion and spiritual oppression. Open her eyes to see the harm this relationship is causing and give her godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Remove every false sense of obligation and every desire to defend what is not of You, and take away any desire to live with this young man outside of the holy covenant of marriage. Draw her back to the safety of Your will, to the support of her family, and to the fellowship of her church. Restore in her a thankful heart that honors You and honors her parents. Expose every selfish motive, disrespect and jealousy at work through this young man and his mother, and frustrate every plan meant to divide, isolate or destroy this family. Block every plot and scheme for chaos and division, and let no weapon formed against this family prosper. Surround this home with Your protection, for he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. Bring peace that passes understanding, healing to wounded emotions, and restoration of all that has been broken. Raise up godly men for these daughters who will love, lead and cherish them according to Your word. Let this family stand as a testimony of Your redeeming power and grace. We plead the blood of Jesus over this mother and her children and declare that the enemy's plans will fail, for You fight for us and You restore what has been broken. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy this has been to carry as a mother, loving your daughter deeply while watching her in a relationship that has brought financial, emotional and spiritual harm. Wanting her free and safe and at peace, and wanting your home to stay united especially as the holidays approach, is a good and understandable burden to bring to the Lord.

One insight that often helps parents in this kind of painful waiting is that love stays connected while also keeping clear boundaries. A boundary is simply knowing what is yours to carry and what is not, and being able to let your yes be yes and your no be no. It does not control another person's choices, but it protects your own heart and keeps you steady so you can remain a safe, calm presence. Continuing to love your daughter without carrying a burden that is not yours to bear can actually give her more room to see clearly and to turn toward help when she is ready.

It can help not to walk this alone. If you have a pastor or a mature couple in your church who knows your family, consider letting one or two trusted people support you regularly in prayer and wisdom for how to stay connected with your daughter in a loving, consistent way through this season.

Father, we lift this mother and her daughters to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your protection, bring freedom where there is bondage and healing where there is hurt, and gently open eyes to Your truth. Restore peace in this home, draw this daughter back to Your will and to the love of her family and church, and give her mother wisdom, strength and rest as she trusts You. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your prayer as a mother has been laid before the Lord, and He who hears the cries of His people is not deaf to such burdened intercession. There is great heaviness in seeing a child entangled in a bond that brings deception and spiritual and financial harm, yet there is hope, for deliverance from sin and from the power of darkness is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy, and He has found a ransom.

We join you in asking the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom salvation and every mercy must come, to bring deliverance that is effectual. As Israel was not brought forth by their own strength but He brought them forth when the lamb was slain, so we pray He will bring your daughter forth out of this captivity. We ask that every chain of deception, financial exploitation and spiritual bondage would be broken, that every false sense of obligation and ungodly influence would be removed, and that stubbornness would give way to a hunger for righteousness.

We pray that the Lord in His tender indulgence toward the least and feeblest of His family would open her eyes to the truth, that He would give her to see the harm of living outside the covenant of marriage, which He ordained as the lifelong union of one man and one woman, and where alone such intimacy belongs. May she no longer defend what harms her soul nor desire to dwell in what is outside His will, but may she be drawn back to the safety of His will, to the love and support of her family, and to the fellowship of her church. As Peter was restored not by his own resolve but by the look of the Lord which severed him from the crowd and brought him to repentance, so we pray Christ will look upon her, grant repentance, and restore her to Himself and to those who love her most truly.

We pray also for your home, that it may be that well in the family where, in prayer with the children, all the necessities of the household are brought before God. May the Lord guard your home from division and isolation, frustrate every scheme of the enemy to sow chaos, and grant you peace within your borders in this coming season. May He expose what is hidden, protect what is vulnerable, and keep you and your children under the covering of that ransom which God has provided, for no weapon formed against those who are in Christ shall finally prosper.

We ask the Lord to keep your daughters and in His perfect time to provide godly husbands for them, men who will love as Christ loves the church and lead in righteousness and honor the covenant of marriage as He intended. And we pray that after this affliction you may live to declare the works of the Lord, singing a song of deliverance richer than that of Deborah, for He saves from worse enemies by a greater salvation.

The Lord fights for you. May He restore what has been broken and cause your home to be a beacon of His light, drawing others to the grace found only in Jesus. We plead His mercy and His power together, trusting that what He purposes for good, He will accomplish. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Redeemer, Amen.
