We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift up your daughter before the Lord and we remember your request for her freedom, protection, restoration, peace and healing. We are standing with you and asking God to break every chain of deception, financial exploitation and spiritual bondage in this toxic relationship and to remove the rebellion, control and ungodly influence of this young man and his mother over her life. We pray that the Lord will open her eyes to the truth, that this man is not her husband and not ready for the responsibilities of marriage, and that the false sense of obligation and the heavy burden she carries for him would be lifted from her heart.
We continue to pray that the Lord would gently but firmly draw her out of this bondage, break the stubbornness in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness. We ask that she would clearly see the harm being done spiritually, emotionally and financially, that she would no longer defend this relationship or desire to live outside of marriage, and that she would turn back to the safety of His will, to the support of her family and to the fellowship of her church. We pray that she would honor the Lord and honor her parents with a thankful heart and no longer be swayed by ungodly and selfish counsel that seeks to divide your family and lead her on a dark path away from her church home. We ask the Lord to expose every wrong motive, to frustrate every plan to divide or corrupt your family, and to block every plot and scheme to cause chaos, isolation and division in your home, especially in this holiday season.
We claim the promises of His Word over you and your children, that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty in 2 Cor 3:17, that if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed in John 8:36, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper in Isaiah 54:17, and that He will restore what has been broken in Joel 2:25. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children and we declare that every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate or destroy your family will fail, for the Lord fights for you.
