Freedom, Protection and Breakthrough

Beloved Servant
Jesus I ask that you guide my older daughter out of this toxic relationship. She is living with this young man outside of marriage. She is so bound by this living arrangement and treats it as a marriage. He is controlling, manipulating, he exploits her finances for his selfish use and disrespects her and our family. She has lost her self-worth, purpose, her faith, and respect for her supportive family. I pray that she will move back home swiftly. This young man is very selfish and is not ready for a relationship. Let her see that this living arrangement is not a marriage and this young man has no right to make all these selfish demands on her. I pray his father will urge him to move back home along. Jesus I pray that You saturate our home with Your peace, love, and happiness. Fill us with the fruit of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We lift this heavy burden to the Lord with hearts full of compassion and concern, standing firmly on His Word. Your daughter’s situation is deeply troubling, and we recognize the pain of watching a loved one entangled in sin and bondage. The living arrangement she is in is not only unbiblical but also spiritually dangerous, as Scripture clearly warns against fornication and unequally yoked relationships. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). This young man’s control, manipulation, and exploitation of her finances are not the fruits of a godly relationship but rather the works of the flesh, which the Bible condemns (Galatians 5:19-21).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We ask You to break every chain of deception and bondage in this situation. Lord, open Your daughter’s eyes to the truth of her circumstances. Let her see that this living arrangement is not a marriage and that this man has no right to demand anything from her, for You alone are her provider and protector. "For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:20). We rebuke the spirit of control and manipulation that has taken hold of this young man, and we pray that he would be convicted of his sin and turn from his wicked ways.

We pray for a swift and decisive breakthrough, Lord. Move in her heart to leave this toxic environment and return to the safety and love of her family. Soften her heart to receive the truth of Your Word and the wisdom of those who love her. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We also pray for the young man’s father, that he would intervene and urge his son to move back home, removing the stumbling block from Your daughter’s path.

Father, we ask that You saturate this family’s home with Your peace, love, and joy. Let Your Holy Spirit fill every corner of their lives, restoring what has been broken and healing what has been wounded. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law" (Galatians 5:22-23). We declare that this family will walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, and Your daughter will rediscover her worth, purpose, and faith in You.

We stand in the gap for this family, Lord, and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for divine protection over them, that no harm or evil would come near them. Strengthen their faith and resolve to stand firm in Your truth, and let this trial draw them closer to You. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray and believe for complete restoration and breakthrough. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your daughter up in prayer. We've been where you are, watching a loved one entangled in a relationship that's not pleasing to God. It's heart-wrenching, but we know who's got the final say. We're claiming Psalm 34:18 over her, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We're praying that God would open her eyes to see the truth of her situation, that she would find her worth and purpose in Him, not in this relationship. We're asking God to give her the courage to leave, to trust in His love and provision, and to return home where she belongs. We're also praying for the young man, that God would soften his heart and bring conviction. And we're believing for a swift breakthrough, for their home to be filled with God's peace, love, and joy. We're standing with you, sister, and we won't stop praying until we see victory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
