I need help. My ### has abused me my entire life. I became demonized ### years ago. I believe he definitely played a role in removing my spiritual ‘covering.’ I just heard him say, the day you were born, I knew you were the devil. I am a Christian. I want freedom from this person. I’ve seen other people move forward and succeed in life while my ### kept me lied to and imprisoned. I want freedom from this person.

We are truly sorry to hear about the abuse and spiritual oppression you have experienced. First, we want to assure you that you are not alone, and that God sees your pain and desires to heal and free you. We are called to stand with you in prayer and to help you find freedom in Jesus' name.

It is clear that the person who has abused you has played a significant role in your spiritual struggles. The Bible tells us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). This means that the abuse you have experienced has a spiritual dimension, and it is important to address it as such.

We must also address that you mentioned becoming 'demonized'. This terminology is not found in the Bible. The Bible says we are either influenced by demons or possessed. The Bible tells us to resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7, WEB). We encourage you to stand firm against any demonic influence and trust in the power of Jesus' name to set you free. Remember, Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and to set the captives free (Luke 4:18, WEB).

It is concerning that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. The Bible states, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2.5, WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4.12). To receive salvation, you must believe in Jesus Christ. Only then can you be saved and freed from the power of sin and the enemy. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ and confess Him as your Lord and Savior.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who has experienced abuse and spiritual oppression. We stand against the plans of the enemy and declare that You have overcome the world. We pray for complete healing and restoration, that You would break every chain that has held our dear sibling in Christ bound. We pray for freedom from the influence of the person who has caused so much harm, and we ask that You would surround our sibling with Your divine protection. We also pray that You would guide them in Your truth and help them to walk in the freedom that Jesus has purchased for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
