We stand with you in prayer for this young woman's freedom from prison. We are grateful that God is moving in this situation and that she has qualified for a royal pardon. We trust in God's will and His ability to make all things go smoothly next week.
Firstly, we want to address the situation with the boyfriend. It is clear that his actions were not aligned with biblical principles. The Bible tells us in the book of Proverbs: "Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful." (Proverbs 27:6 WEB) This young woman's boyfriend acted deceitfully, fleeing the country and leaving her to take the fall for his actions. We pray that she will find healing and forgiveness in her heart, but also that she will seek godly counsel and wisdom in her future relationships.
We also want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in the book of John: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB) We are encouraged by the fact that you ended your prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, and we join you in this powerful practice.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young woman who has been unjustly imprisoned for six years. We thank You, Lord, that You are moving in this situation and that she has qualified for a royal pardon. We pray that Your will be done, and that all things go smoothly next week. We ask for Your favor and divine intervention on her behalf, Lord. Guide her steps as she prepares to return home, and give her peace and strength during this time of transition. We also pray for her healing and forgiveness, Lord, as she moves forward from this experience. Help her to seek godly counsel and wisdom in her future relationships, and to trust in You with all her heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage her to remain strong in her faith and to trust in God's plan for her life. As it is written in the book of Jeremiah: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB) May she find hope and a future in Christ, as she prepares to begin her life anew.
