My 20 yr old daughter Ashley was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder many years ago caused from physical, mental & sexual abuse. She has been in therapy since she was 5. Her current therapist has been working with her to integrate her alters so that she can live independently. One of her alters has become angry and sometimes violent in therapy sessions. Some of the services we had in place to help for mental health have said due to safety reasons they have to pull their services. This leaves her without a support system besides her therapist and myself. Some believe we should institutionalize her. Please pray for God's will in this situation and that He would grant her therapist and I discernment in making the best decisions for her. Also, pray that she can face the past and overcome it and be able to return to college,continue working and retain her apartment. That she would experience healing and freedom through the blood of Jesus Christ,our great physician.

My Lord Jesus, you are the greatest therapist. Dear Lord Ashley is in your hands. Please guide these people towards the right decisions, towards the solution for this problem. Dear Lord we beg you to expell any demons making her condition worse. It is all in your nhands, Dear Jesus extend your hand to her and sooth her, bring peace to the turmoil in her heart and soul. There is no sickness you cannot heal, Dear LOrd bring peace to her heart, heal her wounds and erase the memories that haunt her. Pull her from the darkness into the light Dear Lord, in You we trust.

Jesus, You have control of every situation; even include providing a therapist that You selected for Your child. i asked for one for my mentally challenged brother in law; who was sexally abused and You are sending us for an evaluation, next month! i know that You will provide one for her daughter and You will show the therapist issues that need to be worked on for You created his mind. to help Your children here on earth that need extra special guidance and direction; leading a better life to live independently not relying on anyone but You.

You will show the therapist how this child can release the past, wipe it clean from her heart; go on living a life You want her to excel, to help others in the same situation. thank You Jesus for the blessings You have for this mother for bringing her child to You. You already knew that it was going the request was gong to be brought to You, but You just wanted the mother close to Your heart. AMEN!

I understand what your going thru. My sister had that diagnosis years ago after suffering severe abuse as a child. It indeed, causes the mind to break down and disassociate from one level of consciousness to another. It is not demonic as some think, but when the mind becomes sick, usually from severe trauma. Very fragmented! I come in agreement, for this dear one that she would get the best possible therapy and care available, that You, Lord would help her in every way! Give her mother discernment and wisdom -GOD'S MIND - to make best decisions for her daughter, Ashley. To God be the Glory in Jesus' name, amen!
