We understand that you are facing a struggle with a long-term attraction to heavy metal music and its community, as well as a desire to be free from homosexuality. First and foremost, we want to remind you that true freedom is found in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we can overcome any temptation or struggle. As it is written in John 8:36 WEB, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."
Firstly, let's address the issue of music. While the Bible does not explicitly discuss heavy metal music, it does warn us to be discerning about what we allow into our minds and spirits. Philippians 4:8 WEB tells us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." If heavy metal music is causing a negative influence or compulsion, it may be beneficial to consider alternatives that align with these principles.
Remember, it is only through the strength of Jesus Christ that we can overcome any temptation. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Now, let's address the issue of homosexuality. It is important to note that while we must approach this topic with compassion and love, the Bible clearly teaches that homosexuality is a sin. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB, "Don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."
However, it is also important to note that being tempted by homosexuality is not a sin. It is a sin when we take action on the temptation. Even the Apostle Paul struggled with sin as he mentioned in Romans 7:19 WEB, "For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice."
We encourage you to seek God's will for your life and to pray for a godly spouse, as marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman. As it is written in Genesis 2:24 WEB, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is struggling with compulsions towards heavy metal music and homosexual temptations. Father, we know that Your desire is for us to be holy and set apart for You, and that You have provided a way of escape from temptation through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Lord, we pray for deliverance from these struggles. We pray that You would fill our brother with Your Holy Spirit, granting him the strength and wisdom to resist temptation and to walk in Your will for his life. We pray that You would surround him with godly community, that he would be encouraged and supported in his walk with You.
We also pray for a godly spouse for our brother, a woman who loves You and seeks Your will. We pray that their marriage would be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness, and that it would bring glory to Your name.
Finally, Lord, we pray for salvation for our brother, that he would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that man believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth that he confesses resulting in salvation according to Romans 10:9-10.

Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can have access to God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and delivered from our sins. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
