We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on your behalf for freedom from depression, anxiety, and PTSD. We recognize your pain and cry out to God together, as you have so honestly and powerfully expressed.
Firstly, we acknowledge your cry to God in the name of Jesus. This is so important as it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In your struggle, remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We encourage you to take heart, for Jesus has overcome the world. John 16:33 WEB. In Him, you can find peace even in the midst of your storm. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We pray that God will strengthen you and help you to endure. "Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him." James 1:12 WEB.
Remember that Elijah, whom you mentioned, found comfort and strength in the presence of God. In your feelings of exhaustion and weariness, know that God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved brother/sister who is going through a difficult time. Lord, You see the tears, You hear the cries, and You know the pain. We ask for Your healing touch on their mind, body, and spirit. Break the chains of depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and release them from the shackles of the enemy.
Father, give them strength to endure and a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 WEB.
Lord, let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Let it be a story of redemption and restoration.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 WEB. Hold onto God's promises, and trust in Him to carry you through this challenging time.
