We hear your cry for deliverance from the heavy burden of covetousness, and we stand with you in seeking God’s healing and freedom—not only for yourself but for your family as well. Covetousness is a snare that entangles the heart, leading to discontent, strife, and even the breakdown of relationships. The Word of God warns us clearly: *"You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s"* (Exodus 20:17 WEB). This commandment is not merely about outward actions but about the condition of the heart, for Jesus taught that *"out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies"* (Matthew 15:19 WEB).
We must also address the foundation of your plea. You mention the Lord, but we must be clear: it is only through the name of **Jesus Christ** that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
