Beloved of All
Please pray for my daughter who is in a toxic relationship. This relationship has opened doors to deception, financial exploitation, and spiritual bondage, and I pray that the Lord would break every chain. Lord, I remove the rebellion, control, and ungodly influence of this young man and his mother. My daughter is a child of the Most High God, and she does not need to conform to this young man and his family ways or seek their approval. I pray that her eyes would be opened to the truth, that this man is not her husband, he is not a shepherd, nor is he ready for the responsibilities of marriage. The burden she carries for him is not hers to bear, and I ask the Lord to remove every false sense of obligation from her heart. Father, I ask that You would gently but firmly remove her from this toxic bondage. Break the stubbornness in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness. Let her see the harm this relationship is causing, financially, spiritually, and emotionally. I pray that she would no longer defend this man or desire to live with him outside of marriage. Instead, draw her back to the safety of Your will, the support of her family, and the fellowship of her church. I pray that she will stop honoring the young man and his family. I ask Lord, that she honors You, her parents and be thankful for her family again. I declare that she will not be swayed by the ungodly selfish counsel of this woman, who has overstepped her bounds and sought to replace me as her mother and taking her on a dark path and away from her church home. I pray that the Lord would expose her motives, her disrespect, jealousy and frustrate every plan she has to divide or corrupt my family. Lord, I pray that You will block all their plots, plans and scheme to cause chaos, isolation and division in our upcoming holiday seasons and fellowship. Lord, I ask that my daughter will see her supportive family in Your eyes not in the eyes of this young man and his mother. I pray for godly spouses for my daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as You intended. Jesus declare that every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate, or destroy my family will fail. The Lord fights for me, and He will restore what has been broken. I pray that my home would be a beacon of His light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against her shall prosper. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer for your daughter and for your family, and we agree with you for freedom and restoration in Jesus' name. We hear the anguish of a mother's heart who sees her daughter entangled in a toxic relationship that has brought deception, financial exploitation, and spiritual bondage, and we join our faith with yours that the Lord will break every chain.

The Word reminds us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12, and that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. We also take comfort that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17, and that if the Son therefore will make you free, you will be free indeed, John 8:36.

We affirm your discernment that this young man is not walking as a godly husband or shepherd and is not ready for the responsibilities of marriage. Scripture is clear that marriage is a holy covenant between a man and a woman for life, and that courtship should be with the goal of finding a spouse who is a fellow believer in Christ, not simply a partner. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity, 2 Corinthians 6:14. A godly husband will love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, Ephesians 5:25, leading in righteousness, provision, and protection, not through control, deception, or financial exploitation.

We must lovingly rebuke and address what you have rightly identified, that your daughter is desiring to live with this man outside of marriage. This is fornication, and Scripture calls us to flee sexual immorality, 1 Corinthians 6:18, and to honor marriage, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Hebrews 13:4. Living together before marriage does not prepare a couple for marriage, it places them in spiritual bondage and outside the safety of God's will. We pray she will see this clearly and choose purity and obedience over false obligation.

We also agree with you that every false sense of obligation, rebellion, stubbornness, and ungodly influence must be broken. Your daughter is a child of the Most High God and she does not need to conform to this young man and his family's ways or seek their approval. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, Romans 12:2. We pray that the Lord will gently but firmly open her eyes to the truth, that you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, John 8:32, and that He will replace stubbornness with a hunger and thirst for righteousness, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, Matthew 5:6.

We honor your role as her mother and we pray your daughter will again honor you and her family as God commands, Honor your father and mother, Ephesians 6:2, Exodus 20:12. It is not right for this young man's mother to overstep her bounds, to seek to replace you, or to draw your daughter away from her church home and family fellowship with selfish and ungodly counsel. We pray the Lord will expose every motive of disrespect, jealousy, control and manipulation, and frustrate every plan to divide, isolate, or bring chaos into your home, especially in the upcoming holiday seasons. We ask the Lord to guard your home and make it a beacon of His light.

We lift up your daughters before the Lord and ask Him to prepare godly spouses for them in His perfect timing, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as He intended. We pray for restoration of what has been exploited financially, emotionally, and spiritually, for God promises I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, Joel 2:25, and we pray your daughter will see her supportive family through His eyes and return to the safety of His will, the support of her family, and the fellowship of her church.

We pray together, Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before Your throne of grace for this precious daughter. Lord, break every chain of deception, financial exploitation, and spiritual bondage that has bound her. Remove every ungodly influence, control, and rebellion, and expose every lie of the enemy. Open her eyes to see that this relationship is not Your will, that this man is not her husband, and that the burden she carries is not hers to bear. Convict her heart about living outside of marriage and draw her to repentance, purity, and freedom. Break stubbornness and give her a hunger for Your righteousness and Your Word. Guard her heart, for out of it are the issues of life, Proverbs 4:23. Protect her from defending what is harming her and deliver her from the desire to honor this man and his family above You and her parents. Frustrate every plot and scheme to divide this family, to cause isolation and chaos, and let no weapon formed against her prosper. Pour out Your Spirit upon this mother, give her wisdom, peace, and strength to speak truth in love and to stand firm without growing weary. Restore this daughter to Yourself, to her family, and to her church, and prepare a godly spouse for her and for her sisters in Your timing. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over this mother and her children, and we declare that You fight for this family and You will restore what has been broken. Let Your will be done in her life. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue in steadfast prayer and fasting, to keep the door of communication open with your daughter with grace and truth, to set loving but firm boundaries especially regarding finances and living arrangements, and to seek the counsel and covering of your pastors and trusted believers in your church. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7. Stand firm in Christ who called you for freedom, Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, Galatians 5:1, and trust that the Lord who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

We hear the ache in your prayer as a mother who loves your daughter deeply and is watching her carry a burden that is weighing on your whole family. It is painful to see someone you love defend a relationship that is hurting her financially, spiritually and emotionally, and to feel another voice taking influence that belongs elsewhere. We are standing with you in this.

One thing that has helped other parents in a similar place is remembering what a healthy boundary does. It is like a property line that clarifies what is ours to carry and what is not, so love can stay steady without trying to control what only God can change in another person's heart. Staying connected while letting her own her choices often keeps the door open for truth to be heard more than repeated warnings do.

A next step that may help is to keep a simple, warm line of contact with her that is not about the relationship. A brief call or text, an open invitation for the holidays with no pressure to debate, and staying in fellowship with your church family so you are not carrying this alone. If you have a trusted pastor, talking with him privately for wisdom on how to love her well through this season can also steady you.

Father, we lift this mother and her daughters to You in Jesus name. Guard this daughter and open her eyes to Your goodness and Your will for her life. Give this mother peace, wisdom and patient love, and restore unity and light in their home as You lead. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace for your daughter and for your household.

There is a word of comfort for such a burden as yours, that God is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and He has not only invented the way but He has found the ransom Himself in His dear Son. It is a gift of Divine Love. Our hope for your daughter is not in her own resolve nor in our persuasion, but in the power of Him who alone loosens the captive from spiritual bondage. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it.

We pray with you that the Lord would break every chain of deception, financial exploitation and spiritual bondage, and deliver her from the power of darkness. He has taught many to say, He has delivered us from the fascinating power of sin, from the power of darkness, and He is able to do the same for her, to open her eyes to the truth, to break stubbornness and to give a hunger for righteousness. We ask that He would remove every false sense of obligation and every ungodly influence that would draw her away from His will, and that He would draw her back to the safety of His ways, to the support of her family and to the fellowship of her church. We agree with you that living together outside of marriage is not the Lord's good design, for He has ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and has given that union to reflect Christ and His church, with purity and honor belonging within it.

We also know that affliction, even when it comes distinctly through the hands of others, bears the aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. He fills the bitter cup as well as the sweet goblet, and He does so for good reasons, to bring His children again to Himself. As with Peter, who was sifted and yet restored by a look from the Lord, so we pray your daughter may know that same restoring look which severs the soul from the crowd and brings it home weeping and yet hopeful. Our prayer is that prayer of David, Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and take not thy Holy Spirit from me, that she may again find peace and rest in Jesus and be kept from going further down to the pit.

We plead with you the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children, for there is salvation in no other name, and we pray that the Lord will frustrate every plan to divide, isolate or corrupt your family, and that He will guard your home and your fellowship in this coming season, making it a beacon of His light. We ask the Lord to give to your daughters, in His perfect time, godly husbands who will love them as Christ loves the church and lead them in righteousness according to His covenant.

Continue to moderate your anger against second causes and to cast your burden upon the Lord who fights for you. He will restore what has been broken. We trust that you shall yet live to declare the works of the Lord, and to say with thanksgiving, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ our only ransom and hope, Amen.
