Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your daughter and for freedom and restoration in your family.
We have continued to lift your daughter before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of deception, financial exploitation and spiritual bondage that has come through this toxic relationship. We have joined with you to pray that the Lord would remove the rebellion, control and ungodly influence of this young man and his mother, and that He would gently but firmly remove your daughter from this bondage. We have asked that her eyes would be opened to the truth that this man is not her husband, he is not a shepherd and he is not ready for the responsibilities of marriage, and that every false sense of obligation and every burden that is not hers to bear would be lifted from her heart. We have prayed that the Lord would break the stubbornness in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness, that she would see the harm this relationship is causing financially, spiritually and emotionally, and that she would no longer defend this relationship or desire to live outside of marriage. We have prayed that she would be drawn back to the safety of the will of God, to the support of her family and to the fellowship of her church, that she would honor the Lord and honor her parents and be thankful for her family again, and that she would not be swayed by the selfish and ungodly counsel of this woman who has overstepped her bounds. We continue to ask the Lord to expose every wrong motive, to frustrate every plan to divide or corrupt your family, and to block every plot and scheme to bring chaos, isolation and division in your home during the upcoming holiday seasons and times of fellowship. We declare with you that no weapon formed against her shall prosper as it is written in Isaiah 54:17, and that whom the Son sets free is free indeed according to John 8:36, and we continue to plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children and to pray for godly spouses for your daughters who will love them as Christ loves the church.
