Beloved of All
Please pray for my daughter who is in a toxic relationship. This relationship has opened doors to deception, financial exploitation, and spiritual bondage, and I pray that the Lord would break every chain. Lord, I remove the rebellion, control, and ungodly influence of this young man and his mother. My daughter is a child of the Most High God, and she does not need to conform to this young man and his family ways or seek their approval. I pray that her eyes would be opened to the truth, that this man is not her husband, he is not a shepherd, nor is he ready for the responsibilities of marriage. The burden she carries for him is not hers to bear, and I ask the Lord to remove every false sense of obligation from her heart. Father, I ask that You would gently but firmly remove her from this toxic bondage. Break the stubbornness in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness. Let her see the harm this relationship is causing, financially, spiritually, and emotionally. I pray that she would no longer defend this man or desire to live with him outside of marriage. Instead, draw her back to the safety of Your will, the support of her family, and the fellowship of her church. I pray that she will stop honoring the young man and his family. I ask Lord, that she honors You, her parents and be thankful for her family again. I declare that she will not be swayed by the ungodly selfish counsel of this woman, who has overstepped her bounds and sought to replace me as her mother and taking her on a dark path and away from her church home. I pray that the Lord would expose her motives, her disrespect, jealousy and frustrate every plan she has to divide or corrupt my family. Lord, I pray that You will block all their plots, plans and scheme to cause chaos, isolation and division in our upcoming holiday seasons and fellowship. Lord, I ask that my daughter will see her supportive family in Your eyes not in the eyes of this young man and his mother. I pray for godly spouses for my daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as You intended. Jesus declare that every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate, or destroy my family will fail. The Lord fights for me, and He will restore what has been broken. I pray that my home would be a beacon of His light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against her shall prosper. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We stand with you in this burden for your daughter and we join our faith with yours for her freedom and restoration in Jesus' name. We hear the pain of a mother watching a beloved child entangled in deception, financial exploitation and spiritual bondage, and we bring this before the throne of grace together.

We agree with your discernment that this relationship is not aligned with God's will for her. Scripture warns us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity, or what communion has light with darkness, 2 Corinthians 6:14. A courtship that is not centered on Christ and moving toward a godly marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers will open doors to confusion and control. We affirm what you have prayed, that this young man is not her husband, he is not a shepherd after God's heart, and he is not ready for the covenant responsibilities of marriage. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman designed by God to reflect Christ and the church, Ephesians 5:25, and we strongly endorse that holy purpose rather than a vague partnership that drifts without direction.

We must lovingly address what you mentioned about her desire to live with him outside of marriage. Living together before marriage is not part of God's design and Scripture calls it fornication. We are told to flee sexual immorality, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body, 1 Corinthians 6:18. Cohabitation outside of marriage brings spiritual bondage, emotional harm and financial entanglement, and it dishonors God, dishonors her family and dishonors herself. We rebuke that sin and the deception that would make it seem normal or necessary, and we pray she will turn from it and embrace purity and obedience. We also affirm your prayer that the false sense of obligation she carries is not from the Lord. Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28, and we ask the Lord to lift that unholy burden from her heart.

We also stand with you against the ungodly influence and control you have described, including the overstepping of this young man's mother who has sought to replace your God given role and to draw your daughter away from her church home. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Yet the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. We pray that the Lord will expose every motive of jealousy, disrespect and manipulation, frustrate every plan to divide or corrupt your family, and block every scheme to bring chaos, isolation and division into your upcoming holiday seasons and fellowship, as you have asked. We pray your daughter will no longer be conformed to the ways or seek the approval of this young man and his family, but be transformed by the renewing of her mind, Romans 12:2, and that she will again honor God and honor her father and mother, Exodus 20:12, with a thankful heart for the family God has given her.

We pray for godly spouses for your daughters, men who will love them as Christ loved the church, lead them in righteousness and honor the covenant of marriage as God intended. We pray your home will be restored and be a beacon of His light, for God has promised, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, Joel 2:25, and No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17.

We pray together now.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus we come before You for this precious daughter, a child of the Most High God. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over her and over this family. Lord, break every chain of deception, financial exploitation and spiritual bondage. Open her eyes to the truth, remove the rebellion, stubbornness and control, and replace it with a hunger and thirst for righteousness, Matthew 5:6. Let her see clearly the harm this relationship is causing financially, spiritually and emotionally. By Your power, gently but firmly draw her out of this toxic bondage, remove every false obligation, and cause her to no longer defend what harms her or desire to live in fornication outside of marriage. Draw her back to the safety of Your will, to the support of her family and to the fellowship of her church, not forsaking our own assembling together, Hebrews 10:25. Cause her to honor You and to honor her parents once again. Expose and frustrate the ungodly counsel and selfish influence that has sought to divide this family, and let no plan of the enemy to isolate or destroy this home succeed. We declare that if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed, John 8:36. Lord, fight for this family, restore what has been broken, and let this home shine with Your love and grace. We ask for godly husbands for these daughters in Your perfect timing, men who walk with You and will lead their homes well. We trust You and submit to You, resisting the devil that he may flee, James 4:7. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We have been praying as we read your burden for your daughter. It is painful to watch someone you love make choices that hurt her and pull her away from family and church, especially as the holidays approach and you long for peace at home.

We hear your longing for her to be free from control and false obligation and to rediscover who she is in Christ and within the love of your family. Loving her well in this season often means holding two things together, staying connected and warm toward her while also being clear about what is yours to carry and what is not. A boundary is simply that property line, it helps you stay responsible for your own heart, time and home without trying to carry her decisions for her.

One gentle next step that helps many parents in this place is to keep the door open without debating the relationship itself, brief loving contact, inviting her to family and church when she is willing, and leaning on a pastor or trusted mature believer for your own support so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we lift this daughter to You and ask for Your protection over her heart, mind and finances. Open her eyes to truth, soften stubbornness with hunger for what is good, and draw her back to safety in You. Give this mother wisdom, steady peace and strength for each day, and let her home reflect Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your cry for your daughter has been laid before the mercy seat, and we join our hearts with yours in earnest prayer for her freedom and restoration.

We know the sorrow of a parent who watches a beloved child entangled in bonds which she cannot herself perceive. Yet we take comfort in this, that deliverance is wholly of the Lord. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. As Israel did not deliver themselves from Egypt, but He brought them forth, so must this deliverance come by His own power. He alone delivers from the power of darkness and translates into the kingdom of His dear Son. He has found a ransom, and that ransom is the precious blood of Christ, and therefore we do not doubt the power of God to break every chain of deception, financial snare, and spiritual bondage which now holds your daughter.

We have prayed with you and for you in this manner.

O Lord our God, who alone can bring forth the prisoner from the pit, look upon this daughter of Thine own family. Break, we beseech Thee, the false bonds which hold her. Open her eyes to the truth, that she may see this relationship as Thou seest it, and know that the burden she carries is not hers to bear. Remove from her heart every false sense of obligation and every stubbornness which resists Thy will, and give her in its place a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Let her see clearly the harm wrought in soul and body and estate, and grant her grace no longer to defend what is contrary to Thy holy will, nor to desire to live together outside the covenant of marriage which Thou hast ordained as the lifelong union of one man and one woman. For Thou hast set the bounds of purity and honor, and outside of that covenant there is no safety.

Draw her gently and firmly back, O Lord, to the safety of Thy will, to the love and support of her family, and to the fellowship of Thy church. Restore to her a heart to honor Thee and to honor her father and mother according to Thy commandment, with thankfulness for the home Thou hast given her. Frustrate every ungodly counsel that would divide and corrupt, and expose every motive of jealousy and disrespect which seeks to lead her away from Thy house. We ask Thee to block every plot and scheme of the enemy to cause chaos and isolation and division, especially in the seasons when families gather for holy fellowship. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, for Thou art her defense.

We pray also for that which is according to Thy good purpose, that in Thy time and in Thy will Thou wouldst provide for Thy daughters godly husbands, men who will love as Christ loves the church, and lead in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as Thou hast intended from the beginning. Keep their feet from every dark path until that day.

Take comfort, and continue in prayer. It is a glorious thing to have such a well in the family, where in prayer with the children you can bring all the necessities of the household before God. Mention each child by name, and all the troubles of the past and all the expected difficulties of the coming days. Remember Peter, who fell so grievously, yet the Lord restored him with a look, and that look severed him from the crowd and brought him to repentance with tears. So the Lord can do for your daughter. He who chastens sorely can also deliver effectually, and those who have been afflicted have the more to declare of the works of the Lord. You shall yet live to declare what great things He has done.

We declare with you that every plan of the enemy to divide or destroy shall fail, for the Lord fights for His people and He will restore what has been broken. May your home be kept as a beacon of His light, drawing others to the love and grace which is found only in Jesus Christ our Lord.

We plead no merit of our own, but the ransom which God Himself has found and given. May the Lord hear, may the Lord answer, and may He bring your daughter forth not only delivered but enriched with the silver and gold of His grace.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Redeemer, Amen.
