We hear your heartfelt cry for your daughter, and we join with you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. This situation is deeply concerning, as the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy what God has purposed for her life. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy designed to isolate her, manipulate her, and rob her of her God-given identity and relationships. The Word of God declares, *"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). We stand on this truth and declare that your daughter will walk in the abundant life Christ died to give her.
The control and isolation being exerted over her are not of God. Scripture is clear that *"where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty"* (2 Corinthians 3:17 WEB). We pray that every chain of manipulation and deception be broken in Jesus' name. The young man and his mother are operating in a spirit of control that is contrary to the love and freedom found in Christ. We rebuke this spirit and command it to flee. Your daughter was not created to be controlled or isolated; she was created for community, purpose, and relationship with God and her family. We declare that the plans of the enemy to separate her from those who love her will fail, and she will be restored to the safety and love of her family.
We also address the issue of dishonesty in this relationship. Proverbs 12:22 tells us, *"Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight"* (WEB). The dishonesty in this young man’s actions is not pleasing to God, and we pray that conviction would fall upon him. We ask that his father, as the spiritual leader of his home, would step in with godly authority to correct his son and require him to move back home. Fathers are called to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), and we pray that this father would fulfill his biblical role in this situation.
Your prayer for a godly spouse for your daughter is beautiful and aligns with God’s heart for her. We echo your request and ask the Lord to prepare a man who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). This man must be a believer, grounded in the Word, and committed to leading her in righteousness. We pray that God would close every door that is not of Him and open the path to the spouse He has ordained for her in His perfect timing. Until then, we ask that she would find her satisfaction and joy in Christ alone, knowing that He is enough for her.
We also lift up your daughter’s relationship with the Lord. It is clear that she has been pulled away from her fellowship with Him and with her family. We declare that she is not a victim but a victor in Christ, and we ask that You restore her to the fullness of who You created her to be.
Father, we pray for her protection. Surround her with Your angels and cover her with the blood of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every plot of the enemy be exposed and dismantled. We ask that You would soften her heart to hear Your voice and the voices of those who love her. Draw her back to You, Lord, and restore her relationship with her family and friends. Let her find her identity, worth, and purpose in You alone.
We also pray for the young man and his family. Lord, we ask that You would bring conviction where there is sin and repentance where there is wrongdoing. We pray that the young man’s father would step in with godly authority and require his son to move back home, correcting him in love as Scripture commands. Let this family see the error of their ways and turn to You for healing and restoration.
Father, we ask that You would prepare a godly spouse for this daughter. Raise up a man who will love her as Christ loves the church, who will lead her in righteousness, and who will honor You in their marriage. Until that time, let her find her joy and satisfaction in You alone. Fill her with Your peace, joy, and a spirit of gratitude that overflows in every area of her life.
We declare that tonight, she is covered by Your favor and protection. Let her feel Your presence in everything she does, and guide her steps according to Your will.
