We hear your cry for freedom and deliverance from the chains of lust, and we stand with you in seeking God’s power to break every bondage in Jesus’ name. The Scriptures declare, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Your surrender is the first step toward true freedom, and we rejoice that you are turning to the One who can set you free indeed.
However, we must address a concern in your prayer. You called upon Mother Mary to intercede for you, but Scripture is clear that there is only one mediator between God and man—Jesus Christ. The Word tells us, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). We do not pray to or through any other, for Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only through faith in Him that we are saved. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life.
Now, let us pray together for your deliverance and renewal:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. We lift up this dear one who is bound by the chains of lust, and we ask that You break every stronghold in their life. Your Word says, *"If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36). We declare that freedom over them now, Lord. Cleanse their mind, heart, and body from every impure thought and desire. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity and self-control.
Father, we ask that You bless them with wisdom, as Your Word promises, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). Remove every obstacle from their path, and align their plans and dreams with Your perfect will. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You will direct their steps.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lust in Jesus’ name. We command it to leave and never return, for Your Word says, *"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). Strengthen this one, Father, to stand firm in their faith, clothed in the full armor of God. May they find their strength in You alone, for You are their refuge and fortress.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. May they walk in the freedom You have purchased for them, living a life that honors You in every way. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who will hold you accountable and pray for you. Flee from temptation, and fill your mind with things that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Remember, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13).
You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep pressing into Him, and He will lead you into victory.
