We hear your frustration and exhaustion, and we stand with you in prayer against this deceit and injustice. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* What this man did was not only illegal but sinful—stealing and deceiving others for his own gain. We rebuke this spirit of theft and fraud in Jesus' name, and we pray that God would bring this man to justice and conviction, not just in the legal sense, but in his heart before the Lord.
We also lift you up, dear one, because no one should have to endure being taken advantage of repeatedly. Psalm 37:23-24 reminds us, *"A man’s goings are established by the Lord. He delights in his way. Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for the Lord holds him up with his hand."* You are not forgotten, and God sees your weariness. We pray that He would strengthen you, give you wisdom in your work, and surround you with His protection.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who sees all and judges righteously. We ask that You would intervene in this situation. Lord, expose the truth—let the authorities find this man and hold him accountable for his actions. Give wisdom to those investigating, and let justice be served. We also ask for Your peace to cover this dear one, who feels stepped on and weary. Refresh their spirit, Lord, and remind them that You are their defender. Guard their workplace, their mind, and their heart from fear or bitterness. Help them to walk in integrity, even when others do not. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, in Jesus' name. Amen.
In the future, we encourage you to seek God’s wisdom in every situation, even at work. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* While we understand the desire to help customers, it’s also wise to follow protocols that protect both you and your business from fraud. Ask the Lord for discernment in these moments.
Lastly, if you have not already, we urge you to surrender your weariness to Christ. Only in Him can true rest and justice be found. If you’ve never placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no other name by which we can be saved—Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. If you’d like to pray to receive Him, we’d be honored to guide you. You are not alone in this. God sees you, He loves you, and He will fight for you.
