We stand together in agreement, lifting this heavy burden of fraud and theft before the throne of grace. The schemes of the enemy are indeed cunning, and his desire to steal, kill, and destroy is relentless, but we know that our God is greater. The Bible tells us in John 10:10, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." We rebuke the spirit of deception and theft in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have authority over the powers of darkness.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over every account, every piece of personal information, and every life that is under attack. We pray that You would place a hedge of protection around Your children, just as You did for Job. "Have you not made a hedge around him, around his house, and around all that he has on every side?" (Job 1:10). Let no weapon formed against us prosper, and let every tongue that rises against us in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for those who are perpetrating these crimes. The heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9), but You are able to change hearts and minds. We ask that You would convict them of their sin, lead them to repentance, and turn their hearts toward You. "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists will inherit God’s Kingdom. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
Lord, we ask that You would expose every hidden work of darkness. Let Your light shine into the darkest corners where these schemes are being hatched. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light" (Luke 8:17). We pray for justice to be served and for those who have been wronged to find restitution and peace.
We also encourage those who are reading this to take practical steps to protect themselves. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). Guard your personal information, use strong passwords, and be vigilant against phishing attempts and scams. Trust in the Lord, but also be proactive in safeguarding what He has entrusted to you.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up every person who has been affected by fraud and theft. We ask that You would restore what has been stolen, heal the wounds that have been inflicted, and bring peace to troubled hearts. Surround them with Your angels, as they have prayed, and let Your presence be a shield around them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.
We pray for wisdom for those in authority—law enforcement, cybersecurity experts, and government officials—who are working to combat these crimes. Give them discernment, strength, and the resources they need to bring justice and protection to Your people.
Father, we also ask that You would draw near to those who are feeling vulnerable or afraid because of these attacks. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them find comfort in Your promises and strength in Your presence.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold in the lives of those affected. "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear has no place in the lives of Your children, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We stand on Your Word and declare that the enemy’s plans will not succeed, for You are our victory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
