We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the serious matter of fraud and theft that plagues so many in this fallen world. The schemes of the enemy are indeed cunning, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The acts of changing passwords, stealing personal information, and opening fraudulent accounts are not just crimes against man—they are sins against God’s commandments. "You shall not steal. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:15-16). These actions break the trust that God has ordained for human relationships and bring harm to His children.
We rebuke the spirit of deception and theft in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Every plan of the enemy to defraud and exploit must be exposed and dismantled by the power of the Holy Spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against God’s people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray for divine intervention to shut down every fraudulent scheme. Lord, we ask that You raise up godly authorities, cybersecurity experts, and justice systems to uncover and prosecute those who engage in these wicked acts. Let Your light shine into the darkness, revealing the hidden works of evil so that they may be brought to justice.
We also pray for those who have been victimized by fraud and theft. Comfort their hearts, Lord, and restore what has been stolen from them—whether it be finances, peace of mind, or trust. You are the God who restores, and we trust in Your promise: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten" (Joel 2:25). Strengthen those who have been harmed, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over our lives, our families, and our communities. Surround us with Your holy angels, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Let no scheme of the enemy prevail against us, and let every attempt to harm us be thwarted by Your mighty hand. We also pray for those who are engaged in these sinful acts—soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance. May they come to know the transforming power of Jesus Christ and turn away from their wicked ways.
We stand on the truth that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that we may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.
