We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the serious issue of fraud and theft that plagues so many in this fallen world. The schemes of the enemy are indeed cunning, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the truth that our God is greater and His protection is sure. The Bible warns us clearly, "Do not steal. Do not lie. Do not deceive one another" (Leviticus 19:11 WEB), and those who engage in such deceitful acts are walking in direct rebellion against God’s commands.
We rebuke the spirit of greed, dishonesty, and exploitation that drives individuals to violate the property and privacy of others. Such actions are not only unlawful but are an affront to the justice and righteousness of God. We declare that every plot of the enemy to defraud, manipulate, or steal will be exposed and thwarted by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, and in Him, we trust for divine protection (Psalm 91:2 WEB). We pray that the hands of those involved in these wicked schemes would be stayed, their plans confounded, and their hearts turned toward repentance.
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your mighty angels to encamp around those who are vulnerable to these attacks, shielding them from every form of deception. Guard their personal information, their finances, and their peace of mind. We pray for wisdom and discernment for those in positions of authority—law enforcement, financial institutions, and cybersecurity experts—that they would be equipped to detect and prevent these crimes. Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24 WEB).
We also lift up those who may have been tempted to participate in such activities, whether out of desperation, greed, or ignorance. Father, convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. Remind them that "the wage of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23 WEB). May they turn from their ways and seek Your forgiveness and transformation.
Lord, we know that our ultimate security is not in passwords, locks, or earthly systems, but in You alone. You are our Shepherd, and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1 WEB). Strengthen our faith as we walk through these trials, and help us to trust in Your provision and protection. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and that You will restore what the enemy has stolen (Joel 2:25 WEB).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and protected. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your kingdom come in every heart and every situation. Amen.
