We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the serious issue of fraud and theft that is rampant in our world today. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the promise that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke the schemes of the devil in the mighty name of Jesus, for we know that the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
Heavenly Father, we pray for Your divine protection over every aspect of our lives. We ask that You surround us with Your holy angels, guarding us from every scheme of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against us in judgment, we shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You expose the works of darkness and bring to light the hidden things of dishonesty (1 Corinthians 4:5). We pray for those who are involved in these fraudulent activities, that their hearts would be turned towards You, and that they would repent of their sins.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are vulnerable to these attacks. Help us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). Teach us to be good stewards of what You have entrusted to us, and to put our trust in You rather than in earthly possessions. We know that where our treasure is, there our heart will be also (Matthew 6:21).
Father, we ask that You would strengthen the hands of those who are working to combat fraud and theft. Give them wisdom, resources, and perseverance to bring justice and protection to the innocent. We pray that You would raise up godly leaders in our financial institutions, government, and law enforcement who will stand against corruption and uphold righteousness.
Lord, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You and that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and for the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth. We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).
We pray for those who have been victims of fraud and theft, that You would restore to them what the enemy has stolen. We stand on the promise that You will restore the years that the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25). Comfort those who are hurting, and give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
