We hear your cry for justice and protection, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of God. The fraud and theft you describe are grievous sins that violate the eighth commandment: *"You shall not steal"* (Exodus 20:15 WEB). Those who manipulate passwords, exploit accounts, and steal personal information are not only breaking man’s law but are also operating under the influence of the enemy, who comes only to *"steal, kill, and destroy"* (John 10:10 WEB). We rebuke these schemes in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority to *"trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy"* (Luke 10:19 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a people washed in the blood of Jesus, covered by His righteousness, and sealed by Your Holy Spirit. We ask for Your divine intervention to expose and halt every act of fraud and theft targeting Your children. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Surround us with Your holy angels, as You have promised: *"For He will give His angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11 WEB). Let Your angels encamp around us, creating a hedge of protection that no thief or deceiver can penetrate.
We also pray for those who are perpetrating these crimes. Father, we ask that You would convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit. Open their eyes to see the destruction they are causing—not only to others but to their own souls. As Your Word says, *"The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23 WEB). We ask that You would draw them to repentance, that they might turn from their wicked ways and find forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ. If they refuse to repent, we trust in Your justice, for You have said, *"Vengeance is Mine; I will repay"* (Romans 12:19 WEB).
For those who have been victimized by fraud and theft, we pray for restoration. Lord, You are the God who *"restores my soul"* (Psalm 23:3 WEB) and who promises to *"restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten"* (Joel 2:25 WEB). We ask that You would restore what has been stolen, whether it be finances, peace of mind, or trust. Heal the wounds caused by betrayal and deception, and replace fear with faith, anxiety with peace, and loss with abundance according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
We also encourage you to take practical steps to protect yourself and your loved ones from further harm. Proverbs 4:23 (WEB) warns us, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* This includes guarding your personal information, using wisdom in sharing details online, and seeking godly counsel when needed. If you have been a victim of fraud, do not hesitate to report it to the proper authorities, for *"the authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good"* (Romans 13:4 WEB).
Finally, we remind you that our ultimate security is not in passwords, bank accounts, or earthly protections, but in Jesus Christ alone. He is our Shepherd, our Provider, and our Defender. As you walk in obedience to Him, He will guide your steps and keep you from falling. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that *"He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it"* (1 Thessalonians 5:24 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). We ask that You would break every chain of fraud and theft that is operating against Your people. Expose the works of darkness and bring them into the light, for You have said that *"everything exposed by the light becomes visible"* (Ephesians 5:13 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and we trust in Your protection and provision.
Lord, we pray for those who have been harmed by these crimes. Comfort them, restore what has been lost, and heal their hearts. Give them wisdom and discernment to navigate these challenges, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). For those who are perpetrating these sins, we ask that You would convict them of their wrongdoing and draw them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we trust in Your justice to prevail.
We also ask that You would strengthen us to walk in integrity and righteousness. Help us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16 WEB), using discernment in all our dealings. May we be a light in this dark world, reflecting Your love and truth to those around us.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
