Jesus was so hungry and thirsty after being in the desert for forty days. Satan came to tempt Him and told Him to turn stones into bread. Jesus did not obey the devil's suggestions. He is a wonderful example for us to follow. Do not obey what Satan tells you to do. Obey the voice of the Lord. Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men.

Satan brings temptation during fasting. If you're at work, it gets so busy that there is no gap to pray. I hope that that day or days don't go to waste. So many other troubles pop up to disrupt the prayer process.

That is a lot of days without food. No wonder in our weakness and in our hunger the devil comes in and tries to make us miss our way to heaven. If trouble comes along when you are fasting or praying for others, then start praying to God at night when no one is making noise and everyone is asleep. Yes, Jesus is our wonderful example of holy and pure life. Cast out the devil out of your house in Jesus name and he will flee from you.

May you Lord guide and protect us in our prayers especially during this time of Lent. We want to defeat Satan temptations in Jesus name. Amen

There are people in the world hungry for God's word. Feed them with what Jesus said. I am the Bread of life. He who eats of Me, shall never hunger. Yes, Lord we want more of You today and forever. Amen

The journey of a thousand miles on earth begins one step at a time. Temptations of all kinds shall come to us but in our journey we should never entertain sin and evil in our heart. Instead call on the Lord when the tempter comes along and want us all discouraged and miss our way to heaven.

God's will for us to go through the valley of the shadow and death, He will be with us wherever we are. Even in the middle of hunger and thirst, Jesus will be there to sustain us and to keep us on our way that leads to heaven.

Jesus had grace for 40 days and “afterward” became hungry (Matt 4:2, Luke 4:2). It was a Spirit initiated fast initiated by a superior grace for the magnanimous task at hand. May he grant graces to fast throughout the church in Jesus’ Name.
