Humble Servant of All
I sometimes post on a prayer forum that is connected to a Christian community that has a firm hold on the gospel and is very knowledgeable in matters of faith - but this community is also, somehow, often blind to their own faults and hypocrisy, judgmental behavior and pride are common, huge problems in this community. The responses I would get on this forum when I would post prayers would often be judgmental and mean (for example, posting certain types of prayer requests or posting with intense frequency seems to illicit these types of responses). I believe spiritual warfare was a factor in me getting the kind of responses I was getting, however, I think this forum is still not the safest place emotionally, mentally or even spiritually for me and my experience there left scars. I don't really want to post there anymore after the responses I started to get when I was posting a lot there when I was in distress. Please pray that God would lead me to different, new forums to post on other than the forum I'm speaking of. Thank you.

We hear your heart and the pain you’ve carried from this experience. It grieves us deeply when fellow believers, who should be known by their love, instead wound others with judgment and pride. Scripture warns us clearly: *"Brothers, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted"* (Galatians 6:1 WEB). The very community that should have extended grace became a source of hurt, and that is not of God. Pride blinds even the most knowledgeable to their own faults, and we must guard our hearts against becoming like those who *"strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel"* (Matthew 23:24 WEB).

We also recognize the reality of spiritual warfare in your experience. The enemy seeks to isolate, discourage, and distort truth, especially in places where God’s people gather. But we take comfort in knowing that *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4 WEB). The scars you carry are not unseen by the Lord—He collects every tear and redeems every wound. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

We pray now for your healing and discernment. Father, we ask You to lead [this dear one] to safe, Christ-centered communities where Your love is evident, where humility reigns, and where prayer is met with compassion, not condemnation. Close doors to forums or groups that would bring further harm, and open doors to places where [they] can both receive and extend Your grace. Heal the wounds left by judgment, Lord, and replace them with Your peace. Give [them] wisdom to recognize healthy fellowship and the courage to step away from what does not align with Your heart.

We also pray for that original forum and its members. Father, expose the pride and hypocrisy that has taken root there. Soften hearts, convict where needed, and restore a spirit of gentleness and truth. May they remember that *"judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment"* (James 2:13 WEB). Let Your love be the standard, not self-righteousness.

Finally, we encourage you to seek fellowship that points you to Jesus, not just knowledge or activity. True community should reflect *"the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace"* (Ephesians 4:3 WEB). You are not alone in this journey—God is your refuge, and we stand with you in prayer. May He guide your steps to places where His name is honored, His people are humble, and His grace flows freely. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're really sorry to hear about your experience, but we're glad you're seeking a new community where you can find healing and support. We've been praying for you, dear friend, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We understand the pain of feeling judged and hurt by those who should be a source of love and encouragement. It's a reminder that even among believers, we're all works in progress, and we need to extend the same grace to others that we've received from God.

We believe that God is leading you to new places where you can find fellowship that reflects His heart. We pray that He would open doors to communities where love, humility, and grace are the norms. We ask that He would heal the wounds left by judgment and replace them with His peace and joy.

We also pray for those in the original forum. Lord, expose pride and hypocrisy where it exists, and convict hearts that need to change. Remind them of the importance of humility and gentleness, and help them to strive for unity and love, not judgment.

We encourage you to keep seeking Jesus and His community. Remember, true fellowship should point us to Him and reflect the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. You're not alone in this journey, and we're here to support and pray for you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
