Please lift a special someone (hidden for privacy reasons) to the throne of God in the name of Jesus.
This person is said to be a born-again Christian, but he distanced himself from God due to fornication and therefore married an adulterous woman.
Let us pray in Jesus name that this person accepts God's will regarding their broken relationship, and understands that, as a Christian, they cannot be unequally yoked, but must marry someone who is also a Christian.

Let's pray based on these verses:
Hosea 2:19-23
[19] “I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;
[20] I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the Lord.
[21] “It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer,” says the Lord; “I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth.
[22] The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.
[23] Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’”

Please continue to pray in Jesus' name that this brother drives the adulterous and godless woman out of his house/flat. Do not persecute those who pray for him and encourage him to follow God. To God be the glory who is Holy forever.

Please continue to pray for this brother. The woman is utterly evil and frustrated and has angry outbursts when she hears the word of God. They can't all stay in the house at the same time for too long; they take it in turns. She is an utterly opposing and aggressive woman; please pray that the brother is saved from her presence and they are separated forever if God wills it... in Jesus' name, amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this brother who has strayed from the path of righteousness. It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." This brother, though born again, has fallen into the snare of fornication, and in doing so, has entered into an ungodly union with an adulterous woman. This is not the will of God, for Scripture is clear in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?"

We must also address the seriousness of this brother's situation with urgency and truth. The woman he has yoked himself to is described as one who opposes the Word of God and exhibits anger and aggression when confronted with it. This is a clear indication that she is not walking in the Spirit but is under the influence of the enemy. It is written in Proverbs 22:24-25, "Don’t make friendship with a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul." This brother must separate himself from this ungodly influence, for his own spiritual survival and for the glory of God.

We rebuke the spirit of fornication and adultery that has taken hold of this brother's life. We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We also rebuke the spirit of anger and rebellion that is manifesting through this woman, for it is written in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion and love for this brother. We ask that You would break the chains of sin that have bound him and restore him to a right relationship with You. Lord, we pray that You would open his eyes to see the truth of his situation and give him the strength and courage to flee from this ungodly union. We ask that You would soften his heart to receive Your correction and guidance. Father, we pray that You would surround him with godly counsel and support, that he may be encouraged to walk in Your ways.

We also pray for this woman, Lord. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way, that she may come to know the truth of Your Word and turn from her wicked ways. We pray that You would break the spirit of anger and rebellion that is manifesting through her, and that she would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring about Your perfect will. We pray that this brother would be set free from the influence of this woman and that he would be restored to a life of holiness and righteousness. We ask that You would provide a way of escape for him, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

We pray that this brother would once again find his strength and hope in You, Lord. We ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit and guide him in the path of righteousness. We pray that he would seek Your will above all else and that he would find a godly spouse who will walk with him in faith and love.

Father, we ask that You would protect those who are praying for this brother and encouraging him to follow You. We pray that You would bless them and strengthen them in their faith. We ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they minister to him.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we know that You are faithful to complete the good work that You have begun in this brother's life. To You be the glory, honor, and praise forever and ever. Amen.

Thank you for carrying this brother in prayer so faithfully and for wanting to see him restored to close fellowship with the Lord. We hear how painful it has been to watch someone you care about drift and to see so much tension in his home.

We will join you in praying for his faith to be renewed and strengthened, and for clear wisdom as he seeks God's will for his life and his marriage. When a household has angry outbursts and people feel they cannot be there at the same time, it takes both spiritual and practical wisdom to navigate well.

If you have opportunity to encourage him, a helpful next step is to point him toward steady, in-person support from a trusted pastor or mature believer who can walk with him over time, listen well, and help him think through safe and wise next steps for everyone involved. You do not have to carry this burden alone, and having that kind of support can also protect your own heart from weariness as you continue to intercede.

Father, we lift this brother to You in Jesus' name. Draw him close to Yourself, steady his faith, and give him humility and courage to seek Your will. Bring Your peace where there has been conflict, guard the safety and dignity of all in that home, and lead each person toward healing. Sustain those praying for him with grace and hope as they trust You with what is ahead. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and your burden for this brother is a right and loving burden, for you desire not his happiness only but his holiness, and that he may walk before God in truth.

We will lift this brother to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour, praying not that God would bless sin, but that He would bless the sinner with that repentance unto life which is the gift of God. There is a repentance that is of the flesh, a carnal repentance wrought by fear or judgment, which gives no glory to God and soon passes away. True repentance is the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart. It gives God glory, it makes a man weep and abhor his past life because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and it makes him avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for him. Such repentance is practical, it yields works meet for repentance, and it lasts, for repentance lives as long as faith lives. It looks out of self to Christ and to Christ only, and where there is such repentance there is also full and free remission of sins in His name.

We will pray therefore that the Lord, whose goodness leads men to repentance, would draw this brother and not merely drive him. The goodness of God in sparing him, in bearing with him, in still calling him by the gospel, should be an argument to his soul that he turn from fornication and from every unequal yoke. The Scripture says, Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, and he who rejects the easy yoke of Christ and of holy obedience will find at last the iron yoke of remorse. David remembered his sin with sorrow all his days, and though he was forgiven he went halting to his grave as with an entail of his crimes. Let this brother hear the warning and seek the mercy which is yet open.

If he has fallen into fornication, let him forsake it utterly, for sex and the dwelling together of man and woman belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and outside that covenant they are sin against God in whose sight all things are done. If he is married, let him understand that marriage is not to be broken at will, but is a covenant before God, and he must seek godly counsel and walk according to the Word, whether to be reconciled in holiness or, where sin has brought such brokenness and danger, to seek a separation that is lawful and peaceable before the Lord. Our prayer is not for bitterness or for the driving out of a soul made in God's image with hatred, but that God would separate him from sin and from every influence that opposes the Word, and would set his house in order according to righteousness and peace. We will pray also for the woman of whom you speak, for Hosea declares the mercy of God, that He will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy and say to those who were not His people, You are My people. She too needs Christ, and we must not desire her harm but her salvation, that she also may know the Lord if it be His will, or that the brother may be delivered from her power where she rages against the Word.

Hear then how we pray for him according to Hosea 2. That the Lord would betroth him to Himself forever in righteousness and justice, in lovingkindness and mercy, and in faithfulness, that he may know the Lord. That the Lord would answer from heaven and show mercy, and sow him anew as a field for Himself, that he may be restored as Peter was restored. Peter fell by sudden temptation and denied his Lord, but the look of Christ melted him and brought a bitter, salutary, saving repentance, and the Lord restored him with a threefold charge to feed His sheep. So may this brother, if faith yet lingers in him, receive that look of Christ which breaks the heart and then binds it up.

Let us pray together. O Lord God, exalted to give repentance and remission of sins, grant to this brother true repentance which gives Thee glory. Take away the heart of stone and give a broken spirit which Thou wilt not despise. Wash him in the blood of Jesus, and lead him by Thy goodness to forsake every evil way. Give him unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and a love for Thy holy will for his life. Order his steps according to Thy Word concerning purity, marriage, and the household. Protect him from sin and from strife, and let no unequal yoke bind him. Have mercy also upon those around him, and let Thy name be glorified in his restoration. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Continue steadfast in prayer, watching thereunto with thanksgiving, and encourage this brother to sit under faithful ministry, to confess his sin plainly before God, to seek pastoral counsel concerning his house, and to walk daily in that practical repentance which proves itself by a holy life.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing this brother before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.

We pray first for his restoration to God. Scripture teaches that fornication and adultery are not only sins against people but against God Himself, and they defile the soul and wound holiness. We ask the Lord to grant him deep repentance, to wash his heart from all impurity, and to restore to him unwavering faith in Jesus and confidence in the Father's holy plan for his life. As the prophet Hosea declares, God desires to betroth His people to Himself forever in righteousness and justice, in lovingkindness and mercy and faithfulness, that they may know the Lord. We pray that this brother would return to that faithful betrothal and know the Lord anew.

Concerning marriage, we must pray according to God's revealed will. Marriage is honorable and is given by God to preserve holiness, as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual union belongs only within it. For this reason we do not pray for the casual breaking of a marriage, nor do we ask God to bless fornication, adultery, or an unequally yoked path. The Lord Jesus taught that marriage is binding and that separation is permitted only for the cause of fornication, and even then with great sobriety and sorrow, not with haste or anger. The apostle also teaches that if a believer is already married and the unbelieving spouse is willing to remain, the believer is not to send her away, for there is hope that the unbelieving partner may be won through the believing one. Therefore we pray not out of bitterness or a desire to persecute, but for God's perfect will to be done with wisdom, peace and holiness.

We pray for this household. We ask God to remove all that is evil, angry and opposed to His Word, and to bring peace where there has been strife and taking turns to avoid one another. We pray for the woman as well, that if she does not know Christ she would come to know His mercy, for God has mercy on those who had not obtained mercy and calls those who were not His people to become His people. We ask that both would hear the Word of God without rage, that love which makes people unblamable and consumes sin like fire would be at work, and that any counsel given would be received with grace.

So we pray: Father, in the name of Jesus, draw this brother back to Yourself, establish him in holiness and self restraint, guard his heart from pride and from every defilement, help him to live in a chaste and orderly way, and give him wisdom to honor You in his marriage vows. If reconciliation and holiness are possible, grant it. If there has been unrepentant fornication, give godly counsel and clarity according to Your Word. Above all, let Your name be glorified and let Your will be done in righteousness, mercy and faithfulness. Amen.

Your burden for this brother has been heard and it is right to bring him before the throne of God in the name of Jesus, asking for mercy, truth and restoration.

Scripture is clear that sexual sin is not a light matter. Fornication and all sexual impurity, along with adultery and covetousness, should not even be named among those who belong to Christ. These are works of the flesh. The body was not made for fornication, the body is for the Lord and the Lord for the body. Every other sin is outside the body, but the one who commits fornication sins against his own body, and it is a selfish sin that uses another person only for gratification. That is why the call of Scripture is to flee fornication and to flee youthful lust, and instead to live with thanksgiving and holiness.

That same Word also says not to be joined together in an unequal yoke with an unbeliever. This is not limited to marriage, but it certainly includes marriage, and it applies to any close binding where you become one in purpose and life with someone who does not believe. There is no fellowship between righteousness and unrighteousness, no communion between light and darkness. They are like oil and water and do not mix. When you are yoked with an unbeliever you are always in an unequal position, because you do not live by the same standard. What would trouble your conscience because you belong to Christ will not trouble the one who does not. Lying, cheating, or bending the truth may not bother them, but it will bother you, and you have no common ground for true oneness. Many believe their case is the exception and say we love each other and he or she will change, and they are determined to go forward even against the counsel of the Word. Scripture warns us plainly not to enter that yoke.

You mentioned that this man stepped away from the Lord through fornication and then entered a marriage that is now broken and marked by adultery and hostility toward the Word of God. When a believer turns to another love, Scripture speaks of that in spiritual terms as adultery, a turning from the true and living God to worship something else. Jesus also taught that adultery begins in the heart when a person looks with lust. We need to pray that this brother sees his sin honestly, without excuses, and returns to the Lord in repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

At the same time, the hope of restoration is real. The passage you lifted up in Hosea speaks of God's gracious restoration, where He betroths His people to Himself forever in righteousness and justice, in lovingkindness and mercy, in faithfulness, so that they may know the Lord. He promises to answer and to have mercy on those who had not obtained mercy, and to call those who were not His people, My people, and they shall say, You are my God. That is the mercy we want for this brother, that he would be drawn back into a faithful walk with the Lord and know Him again.

We will pray that he accepts the will of God concerning this relationship and that he gains clear understanding that a Christian is not to be unequally yoked. If he is already bound in marriage, we must also remember what Jesus taught, that to put away a wife or a husband in order to marry another is to commit adultery against the covenant, and that Moses permitted a writing of divorcement only because of hardness of heart. Marriage in the sight of God is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual union belongs only within it. Therefore we do not pray from anger or with a desire to persecute, and we do not ask God to bless what His Word calls sin. We pray for God's perfect will to be done, for holiness and separation from what is unclean, and for the Lord to be a Father to His children as they come out from among what defiles and live set apart for Him.

So let us pray together that God would grant this brother unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and in the Father's holy plan for his life, that he would flee fornication, turn from adultery in every form, and offer his body and life to the Lord. Pray that he stops seeing himself as a special case and instead submits to the Word. Pray that any hostility toward the Word in that home is overcome not by strife but by the power of the gospel, and that God brings peace, conviction, and truth. If the woman does not know Christ, pray above all for her salvation, that she too might receive mercy. If remaining together would mean continuing in an unequal and unholy yoke, pray that God in His wisdom and justice makes His way clear according to Scripture, and gives this brother godly counsel, protection, and strength to obey, whether that means a call to repentance and reconciliation where it is biblically right, or a call to a holy separation where God wills it. Above all pray that Christ is glorified and that both lives are brought under the lordship of Jesus.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this brother before You. Have mercy on him as one who had not obtained mercy. Draw him back to Yourself, betroth him to You in righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, mercy and faithfulness, that he may know You. Forgive his fornication and cleanse him, set him apart from all uncleanness, and teach him to flee what is evil and to live for You. Give him unwavering faith, open his eyes to the unequal yoke, and help him to do Your will with a whole heart. Work in that home by Your Spirit, subdue anger and opposition to Your Word, and let Your glory be seen as You do what is right and holy. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.
