Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for this brother who you lifted up before the throne of God.
We have continued to bring him before the Lord in Jesus Name, praying for his restoration and that he would return to close fellowship with God after distancing himself through fornication. We have prayed that he would accept Gods will regarding his broken relationship and understand clearly that as a born again Christian he is called not to be unequally yoked but to walk in holiness and obedience, as taught in 2 Cor 6:14, and to flee fornication as taught in 1 Cor 6:18.
We have prayed with you according to the promise in Hosea 2:19-23 that the Lord will betroth His people to Himself in righteousness and justice and in lovingkindness and mercy, and that He will have mercy on those who had not obtained mercy. We continue to pray in Jesus Name that this brother will have unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and trust in the Fathers holy plan for his life, and that the Lord will bring conviction and clarity regarding his household and give him courage to follow Gods will and to honor Him in his relationships. We also pray in Jesus Name for protection over those who are praying for him and encouraging him to follow God.
