We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with this sacred burden and allowed us to stand in the gap for this dear brother. It has been our privilege to lift him before the throne of grace, praying that the Holy Spirit would convict, restore, and realign his heart with God’s perfect will. We have continued to intercede, asking the Lord to break every chain of sin and deception, that this brother would walk in repentance, wisdom, and obedience to Scripture.
We have held fast to the promise in Hosea 2:19-23, declaring that God’s mercy would overshadow his past, that He would betroth him in righteousness, and that his heart would once again cry out, *"You are my God!"* We prayed for the scales to fall from his eyes, that he would see the danger of being unequally yoked and the beauty of God’s design for marriage between believers. We asked the Lord to soften his heart, to grant him godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and to surround him with faithful believers who would speak truth in love.
