Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join with you in praying for your former landlord and we thank you for anchoring this prayer in the truth of Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, will save it.

This verse reveals the heart of the gospel, that clinging to our own life, our own way and our own control leads to loss, but surrendering our life to Jesus leads to true and eternal life. We pray that your former landlord will hear this truth and respond to the drawing of the Holy Spirit. We pray that he will come to see that there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Our desire is that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in his heart that God raised him from the dead, and so be saved. Romans 10:9.

We also stand with you concerning the rented apartment situation and the spiritual darkness you have discerned. We agree that Jesus reigns over all darkness and that His light expels it, for Jesus said, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12. No power of darkness or unclean spirit can withstand His mighty power, and we declare His victory over every place and person affected.

We pray together now in Jesus name.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this former landlord to You. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon him. Lord, open his eyes to see his need for You, soften his heart to hear Your voice, and grant him repentance and faith. We pray that he will lose his life for Your sake so that he will truly save it and receive eternal life. We pray that he will hear Your voice and follow You, for You have said My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27. Lead him into Your holy plan for his life, for we know You are patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. Let Your healing power and guidance rest upon him and bring him into the light of Your love and faithfulness. We thank You that You are able to reveal Your greatness and power to him and to bring him from darkness into Your marvelous light.

We also pray for you who have lifted this burden, that the Lord will give you peace and assurance as you continue to intercede, and that you will see His hand working even when it is not yet visible. We encourage you to continue to pray and to speak the truth of the gospel in love when God gives opportunity, trusting that God is at work.

We thank God for His love and faithfulness and we trust Him to do what is according to His perfect will. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We were grateful to read your prayer for your former landlord, to keep lifting someone up after the rental relationship has ended shows real care for him as a person, not just the situation around the apartment.

We join you in wanting him to know the life that is found in Jesus and to hear God's leading for his future. That kind of change is ultimately God's work in the heart. We can love, we can pray, we can reflect Christ in how we speak and act, and we trust the Holy Spirit to draw him and to make His way clear in His timing. Your faithful praying is part of that.

One simple way to stay steady in this is to keep praying for him by name when the Lord brings him to mind, without putting pressure on yourself to make something happen. If your paths cross again, a brief word of kindness or grace can be a quiet witness that matches the prayers you are already praying. And we will keep asking God to bring peace to you as well as you release the apartment situation into His hands.

Jesus, we lift this landlord to You. Draw him to Yourself and give him ears to hear You and a heart to respond. Lead him in Your plan for his life and surround him with Your mercy and grace. There is a blessed wisdom in bringing this former landlord before the mercy seat according to the word of our Lord in Luke 9:24, for whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ will save it.

We join with you in prayer that this man may come to know the Truth of God's salvation, which is no temporary work and which operates most powerfully upon the mind and heart. May he be brought to see his real need as a sinner, for he who has not known the truth of his sinnership cannot know the truth of Christ's salvation, and may he then be led to trust in a real Atonement, even the substitution of Christ who bore sin in our stead, and so receive a real pardon. For no salvation will ever serve his turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. We pray that his eyes may yet see God's Salvation, not merely hear of it, but behold Jesus Himself who is God's Salvation, and believe on Him and not be ashamed, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

Remember also that the house in which we dwell has God for its Landlord and we are only tenants. Your former landlord, though he held a lease over an earthly dwelling, himself holds his very breath and being from the great Landlord of all, who has at all times the right to enter and to call His tenants to account. We pray that he may offer the key of his house to that great Landlord and acknowledge that he lives on sufferance by His grace, and that he may hear the still small voice of God and prepare to meet Him, not in terror but in reconciliation through the blood of Christ.

And we pray with you that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. The mere letter will kill, but when we put our ear down to the promises of Scripture till we hear God speaking through them to our soul, then the Word has power to save. May the Lord incline his ear to hear the Gospel as God's own voice speaking to him, warning, cheering and comforting, that he may discern the voice of his Shepherd and follow Him. May the Lord expel all darkness by His light, for we have been delivered from worse enemies than any earthly trouble by a greater salvation wrought by the Lord Jesus Christ, and that deliverance is all of grace.

Let us pray together. O Lord Jesus, who reigns over all, have mercy upon this man and grant him grace to lose his life for Your sake that he may truly save it. Bring him from darkness to light, from being not Your people to being Your people, washed in Your atonement and kept by Your power. Speak to him by Your Spirit through Your Word, that he may hear Your voice and live, and that he may walk in the order You have ordained. We ask this not for our own will but for Your glory, trusting Your love and faithfulness which never fail. Amen.

We join you in prayer for your former landlord, and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord with faith in His power and mercy.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, according to His word in Luke 9:24, that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. We ask the Father to work in this man's heart so that he will hear the gospel, turn from trusting in himself, and give his life to the Lord Jesus. As the Scripture says, what is a man profited if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul. True salvation and true preservation of life are found only when a person surrenders his life to Christ, and we pray that your former landlord will do so and be saved.

We also pray that the Lord in His grace will open his ears to hear His voice and to understand His holy plan for his life. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, and His promise stands that if sinners are converted He will heal them. We pray that this man will be given a careful hearing of the word and a heart to receive it, and that the light of Christ, which expels all darkness, will shine upon him and deliver him from all that holds him bound.

We ask for God's mercy and grace upon him, and for His love and faithfulness to be made known to him. We pray that he will see the greatness and power of Jesus and come to know the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory, which alone can save and keep a soul.

We also bring before the Lord the situation concerning the rented apartment. We ask for His peace, justice, and healing power to guide all involved, and that His will be done in a way that leads to good and to His glory.

We will continue to pray that the Lord draws your former landlord to Himself, that he is kept from losing his life by trying to save it on his own terms, and that he finds eternal life by losing it for Christ. May the Lord comfort and strengthen you as you continue to intercede for him.
