Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join you in praying for your former landlord and we are encouraged by your heart to see him come to salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Your request reflects the very heart of the gospel found in Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the divine exchange that Jesus calls every person to make, to surrender our own will and life to Him so that we may receive eternal life in return.

We love your declaration that Jesus reigns over the darkness and that His light expels all darkness and unclean spirits. Scripture assures us of this victory, for 1 John 4:4 reminds us that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, and James 4:7 tells us to resist the devil and he will flee from you. We agree with you that no one can withstand His mighty power and we thank God for His mercy, grace, love and faithfulness toward both you and your former landlord.

We also pray that any lingering difficulty or hurt surrounding the rented apartment situation is fully covered by the peace of Christ, and that the Lord will bring healing and closure where it is needed, for Romans 8:28 tells us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

It is beautiful that you desire for him to hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Jesus said in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. We know that God longs for all to hear Him and be saved, as 2 Peter 3:9 says, The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. His plan is revealed as we seek Him through His Word, for Romans 10:17 says So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, and Jeremiah 29:11 declares For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We pray together now for him.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for we know that Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 teaches us that there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We lift up this former landlord to You, Lord. We ask that You soften his heart and open his eyes to see his need for a Savior. Holy Spirit, convict him of sin and draw him to repentance and faith in Jesus. Help him to truly lose his life for Jesus' sake so that he may save it for eternity, according to Your promise in Luke 9:24. Remove any darkness, confusion, or unclean influence that may be blinding him, and let the light of Christ shine brightly upon him. Give him ears to hear Your voice, to hear Your Word with understanding, and to follow You. Reveal Your holy plan for his life, lead him into Your truth, and guide his journey with Your healing power. May he come to confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We declare victory in Jesus' name over his life and over this whole situation, and we trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for him and to be a light to him as the Lord gives opportunity, trusting that God is faithful to hear and to work according to His perfect will.

We appreciate you bringing your former landlord before the Lord in this way. It says a lot that instead of holding onto frustration from the rented apartment situation, you are asking for his life to be touched by Jesus and for him to hear God's direction for his life. That kind of prayer reflects Christ's heart for others.

We join you in asking God to draw him close. Salvation is God's gracious work in a person's heart, and our part is to keep lifting him up and trusting God's timing and ways. As you continue to pray, it can help to release any remaining hurt about the tenancy to the Lord as well, so your prayers stay free and hopeful and you can walk in peace whatever his response is. We will keep standing with you in this.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this landlord to You. We ask that You would make Yourself known to him, soften his heart to Your love, and help him hear Your voice and Your plan for his life. Draw him to Jesus that he may find true life in Him. Give our friend peace as he continues to pray and trust You with this person. Amen.

We join with you in bringing this former landlord before the throne of grace, and we thank you for your burden for his soul.

The word you have laid hold upon is a true and searching word. Our Lord says, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. There is Truth in this salvation, and it operates most powerfully upon the mind when it is seen to be real. If a man has never seen his real Fall, he will see no beauty in a real Atonement, and if he does not believe in a real Atonement, he cannot know a real pardon. We pray that this man may be brought to know himself a sinner indeed, that he may see there is Truth in Christ's salvation for such as he is, and that he may look to Jesus and live.

Remember also that we are all tenants and God is the Landlord of the house in which we dwell. Our breath is in our nostrils, but He keeps it there, and we owe the continued possession of our existence every day to Him. There is a clause in every man's lease that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to call His tenant to account. We pray that this landlord may hear the still small voice, obey the inward monitor, and offer the key of his house to the Great Landlord, acknowledging that he lives on sufferance and yielding himself wholly to Him.

You ask also that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The mere letter alone will kill, but when a man puts his ear down to the promises of Scripture till he hears God speaking through them to his soul, then the Word has power to save. We pray that his ears which have been deaf to holy exhortation may be opened, that he may hear God's voice speaking in the Scriptures with freshness and force, and that hearing, he may believe on Him whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation, for whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. No salvation will ever serve his turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding, and that salvation is to be seen wherever we see Jesus, for wherever we see Christ we see God's Salvation.

Lord Jesus, You reign over the darkness and Your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits. We declare that Yours is the mighty power which none can withstand, and we ask Your mercy and grace upon this man who was landlord over this rented apartment. We ask that You would work in him a real sense of sin and a real sight of Your substitution, that he would lose his life for Your sake and so save it, and that he would receive a real pardon through Your blood which cleanses from all sin. Open his ears to hear Your voice in Your Word, draw him through the gate of salvation which yet stands open, and guide him in Your holy plan for his life. Let him see Your greatness and power, and bring him to confess that he is Yours in all the most secret goings of his life. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness, and we ask this in Your name alone, through whom alone salvation comes. Amen.

Continue to cry unto God with your voice as well as your mind, for when men grow earnest they use the voice, and He gives ear unto them. May the Lord make you steadfast in prayer till you see His salvation accomplished in this soul.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
