Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join with you in lifting up your former landlord before the throne of grace and we are encouraged by your heart to see him come to salvation in Jesus Christ.

You have chosen a powerful verse and we stand on it with you, for Luke 9:24 says For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the very heart of the gospel, that surrender to Jesus is not loss but eternal gain. We also cling to the promise in 2 Peter 3:9 that the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, and to Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We agree with your declaration that Jesus reigns over all darkness and that His light expels the darkness, for Jesus said in John 8:12 I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. We pray that this light will shine into your former landlord's heart and that any influence of unclean spirits or darkness will be broken by the mighty power of Jesus.

We also pray as you asked that he will learn to hear God's voice and follow His holy plan, for Jesus said in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Only when a person is born again and belongs to Christ can he truly hear and follow, and Jesus also said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We lift up this former landlord to You and ask for Your mercy and grace upon his life. We ask that You soften his heart and open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, that he would lose his life for Jesus sake and thereby save it for eternity. Draw him by Your Holy Spirit to repentance and faith, that he would confess Jesus as Lord and believe that You raised Him from the dead. Remove any blindness and break every chain of darkness that holds him, and let Your light fill him. Heal any wounds from this rented apartment situation and bring Your victory and peace over all that has happened. Give him ears to hear Your voice, a heart to follow You, and reveal Your holy plan and purpose for his life, that he may walk in Your will and bring glory to Your greatness and power. We trust that no one can withstand Your mighty power and we thank You that You are able to save to the uttermost. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We are grateful for your heart for your former landlord, choosing to pray for his salvation even as you have walked through the rented apartment situation. It is a Christlike love that wants him to know Jesus and to find life in Him, and we are glad to stand with you in that.

We hear how much you want him to hear God's voice and discover His plan for his life. Learning to recognize the Lord's leading is often less like a single moment and more like training over time, small faithful steps of prayer and seeking Him that shape us gradually. Your steady prayers for him are part of that kind of faithfulness, trusting God to work in His timing and way.

If it helps, you might keep a simple rhythm of bringing him by name before the Lord when you pray, asking for his good and then intentionally releasing both him and any remaining weight from the apartment matter into Jesus' hands. It can bring peace to leave him in God's care day by day.

Jesus, we lift this landlord to You. We ask for Your mercy and grace over his life, that he would come to know You and receive the life You give. Draw near to him, open his heart to hear You, and gently guide him toward Your will for him. Bring Your light and peace into this whole situation, and give our friend who is praying continued trust in Your reign and Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing this former landlord before the mercy seat, pleading the word of our Lord in Luke 9:24, For whosoever will save his life shall lose it, but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

What a solemn truth is here. Every man is as a tenant in a house not his own, and the Great Landlord may serve an ejection notice when He wills, for our breath and being are His gifts. The word comes to each soul, Set thine house in order, for thou shalt die and not live. Happy is that man who hears the still small voice and prepares to meet his God while yet there is time and space for repentance.

We pray that the Lord Himself will effectually call this man by His own voice. When the Shepherd calls His own sheep by name, they know His voice and follow Him. Though a man may stop his ears against the gospel, when Christ says, They shall hear my voice, that shall is backed by omnipotence. We ask that the Lord would open his ears to hear, and his heart to understand, that salvation is of the Lord from first to last, Divine from top to bottom, and is to be found only in looking unto Jesus.

Our prayer together is this. O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou alone art the Saviour of sinners, and beside Thee there is none else. Look in mercy upon this former landlord. Convict him of sin and show him his need of a real Saviour for real sin. Grant him repentance and faith, that he may lose his life for Thy sake and so save it. Cause him to look unto Thee and be saved, for a look does not require a moment and Thou hast said, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. Let him hear Thy voice and know Thy holy plan for his life, which is to believe on Thee and live for God. Expel all darkness by Thy light, and let Thy power be seen in his conversion, that he may go from counting his own life dear to committing all to Thee by faith and prayer. We ask this not for our merit, but for Thy glory and grace, trusting in Thy love and faithfulness. Amen.
