Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join you in lifting up your former landlord before the throne of grace and we are encouraged by your heart to see him come to saving faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

You have chosen a powerful verse to pray over him. Luke 9:24 says For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the heart of the gospel, that surrender to Jesus is not loss but eternal gain, while clinging to our own life apart from Him leads to eternal loss.

We also stand with you in declaring that Jesus reigns over all darkness. John 1:5 says The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome it. There is no darkness or unclean influence that can withstand His mighty power, and we agree with you that His light expels all darkness.

We love your desire to see this man hear God's voice and walk in His holy plan for his life. Jesus said in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. It is our prayer that the Lord will soften his heart so he can hear and follow. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. God has a good and holy plan for him, but he can only enter it through repentance and faith in Christ.

We are thankful you prayed in the name of Jesus, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. And Romans 10:9 reminds us that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. The Lord is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this former landlord to You. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to flood his life. Open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, convict him of sin, and draw him to Yourself. Grant him the gift of repentance and faith so that he will willingly lose his life for Jesus sake and thereby save it for eternity. Break any chains of darkness over him and let Your light shine brightly in his heart. Heal any wounds connected to this rented apartment situation and bring Your peace and victory over all that has been difficult there. Help him to hear Your voice clearly, to know Your holy plan for his life, and to follow You with a new heart. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness and trust that You are working even now. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

Thank you for carrying this concern for your former landlord to Jesus. Wanting him to know Christ and to find life rather than lose it is love in action, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer for him.

We know you cannot make this decision for him. Only God can open a heart, and He does that in His own timing and way. What you can do, and are already doing, is faithful: bringing his name before the Lord and asking that he would hear God's voice and recognize the hope offered in Jesus. That kind of steady intercession matters more than we often see.

If it helps, you might keep a simple pattern of praying for him by name when you think of the apartment or your interactions there, and ask the Lord to give you any natural, gentle opportunity to reflect Christ's character if your paths cross again. No pressure to force a conversation, just remaining open to how God might use your kindness and your story.

Father, we bring this landlord before You. We ask that You draw him to Yourself through Jesus, that he would hear Your voice and come to know Your mercy and grace. We join you in prayer for your former landlord and thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

We agree with you according to the word of the Lord in Luke 9:24, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What a solemn and gracious truth this is. We cling with dreadful tenacity to this poor life and to what we call our own, yet this life is but for a little time, while the life to come is forever and alone is worth clinging to. Our prayer is that your former landlord may be awakened from that death like slumber which holds all who are dead in sin, and that the Gospel may come to him with power.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will graciously draw him to look unto Jesus and be saved, for salvation is to those who come unto God by Jesus Christ, and He is able to save to the uttermost all who come. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. May he see that sin is his only qualification to come to Christ, and that a simple look of faith to the crucified and risen Savior brings instantaneous salvation. May any shame for not having loved and trusted such a Savior lead him not to despair, but to seek the Lord and find the way of salvation by faith in Jesus.

Lord Jesus, You reign over the darkness and Your light expels all darkness. We ask that You shine Your light into this man's heart, that every unclean influence be driven out, and that he may hear Your voice and know Your holy plan for his life. Grant him repentance and faith, that he may gladly lose his life for Your sake and so truly save it, giving himself wholly to You to serve You all his days and to be with You where You are to behold Your glory.

We also bring before You the rented apartment situation that has weighed upon our brother or sister. Our Great Landlord permits us to call upon Him to execute all repairs and to daily load us with benefits, and now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. Grant peace, provision and healing where there has been strain, and let all who see Your working perceive Your greatness and power. May Your mercy and grace be evident, and may Your faithfulness be praised.

We commit this former landlord to Your mighty hands that molded the heavens and the earth and were nailed to the cross for sinners. Jesus can save him, and we trust You will save him as he is led to believe in You. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who ever lives to make intercession for us. Amen.

We join you in prayer for your former landlord and thank you for bringing this request before the Lord with faith in His power.

We pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved, that your former landlord would hear the voice of the Bridegroom and respond in faith. As Scripture says, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We ask that now, while it is still the acceptable time and the day of salvation, he would hear the gospel clearly, turn from trusting in himself, and give his life fully to the Lord Jesus. According to Luke 9:24, may he be willing to lose his life for Christ's sake, so that he may truly save it and receive eternal life.

Father, we ask for Your mercy and grace upon him. Remove all darkness and draw him into Your light through Your Son. Open his ears to hear Your voice, open his heart to understand Your holy plan for his life, and grant him repentance and new life through Jesus alone. Help him to hear and to do Your word with perseverance, humility and lowliness.
