Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join you in lifting up your former landlord before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, and we agree with you according to the truth of Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it.

We love your heart for this man, that you desire not vindication over a rented apartment situation but his eternal salvation. That reflects the heart of our Father, for 2 Peter 3:9 tells us The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. We also rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach God and be saved, as Romans 10:9 reminds us that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, and Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else.

We pray together now for him.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, we bring this former landlord before you. You reign over all darkness and your light expels it, for John 8:12 says Jesus is the light of the world and he who follows him will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. We ask for your mercy and grace to flood his heart. Draw him by your Holy Spirit to see his need for a Savior, to surrender his life fully to Jesus, to lose his life for your sake so that he may truly save it and receive eternal life. We declare victory in Jesus name over any lingering strife or unclean influence connected to this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide him on his life's journey. Open his ears to hear your voice, for John 10:27 says My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Cause him to hear you clearly concerning your holy plan for his life, to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Reveal your greatness and power to him, that he may know you are the one true God and that no one can withstand your mighty power, yet you offer love and faithfulness to all who call upon you. We thank you for your love and faithfulness that endures forever.

We encourage you to continue to pray for him with love and without bitterness, trusting that God is at work even when we do not see it. Continue to walk in forgiveness and to be a light to him, that he may see Christ in you and be drawn to repentance. We trust the Lord will complete his good work and that your prayers offered in Jesus name are heard.

We appreciate your willingness to pray for your former landlord rather than holding onto frustration from the rental situation. That desire for him to know Jesus and find real life reflects Christ's heart, and we join you in it.

It is encouraging that you are asking God to draw him and to help him hear God's direction for his life. We do not know what is going on in his heart, but God does, and He is patient and merciful as He works. Your prayers matter, even when you may never see the result.

A simple way to keep going is to set aside a brief moment each day this week to pray for him by name, asking the Lord to make Himself known to him and to give him openness to seek Jesus. If any further contact comes up regarding the apartment, asking God beforehand for grace in how you respond can keep your witness consistent with your prayers.

Father, we lift this landlord to You in Jesus' name. You see his life and his needs. Draw him to Yourself, open his heart to Jesus, and help him hear Your voice and follow Your will. Give our friend peace as he entrusts this man to You, and let Your light and love be evident. Amen.

We join you in bringing this former landlord before the throne of grace, pleading the promise of our Lord Jesus in Luke 9:24, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will graciously draw this man to Christ, that he may no longer stand at a distance from Jesus, the Son of the Most High God, but run to His open arms and find salvation there. Our prayer is that he will be made willing to lose his life for Christ's sake, to make an unconditional surrender to Him, submitting himself to God's way of salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and those who are saved are those who come unto God by Jesus Christ. May he come as a sinner to the Savior who came to call not the righteous, but sinners, and may he hear and believe that Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out. Oh that he would commit himself entirely to those dear hands that were nailed to the Cross, for Jesus is able to save to the uttermost, and whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.

We also lift before the Lord the burden concerning this rented apartment. Our Great Landlord, who made all things and daily loads us with benefits, permits us to call upon Him to order our circumstances and to make provision according to His wisdom. We ask that He would reign over every darkness, that His light would expel all that is unclean and bring peace where there has been strife, and that His healing power and mercy would be known in this situation. May all who see His dealings perceive His greatness and power, against which none can stand, and may His grace be sufficient for you as you trust Him.

And we pray that this man may hear the voice of God concerning His holy plan for his life. May the Lord bring him low in true humility, that being emptied of proud pretension he may hear the sweet voice that says, Come to Jesus, and find life and salvation in Him alone. To lose all for Christ is to save all, to submit to His divine will is the essence of salvation, and to be clothed and in his right mind at the feet of Jesus is the blessed change which grace alone can work.

We entreat the Lord to show him that it is sweet to serve Christ all his days and then to be forever with Him where He is to behold His glory. May he be led to seek the way of salvation by faith in Jesus, believing that Jesus died, rose again, and ever lives to save. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Amen.

We join you in prayer for your former landlord and thank you for bringing this request before the Lord in faith.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, that the Lord in His mercy would open this man's heart to hear His voice. As you have quoted, Jesus said, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. We ask that the Holy Spirit would show him the great difference between the salvation Christ offers and the destruction that comes from holding on to this life without Him. What good is it if a man gains the whole world and yet loses his own soul.

We pray that he would not treat the word of the cross as foolishness, but would come to know it as the wisdom and power of God for salvation. The Lord desires all to be converted and healed, and His promise stands that if a person turns to Him in repentance, He will save. We ask that God would grant him a careful hearing of the word, continual recollection of truth, and a heart willing to turn from darkness to light.

Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation, and we pray that he would hear God's voice today and not harden his heart. May the Lord expel all darkness, deliver him from all that holds him back, and guide him into His holy plan for his life, which is found only in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

We ask that he would lose his life for the sake of Jesus, surrendering all to Him, and in doing so truly save it. We pray for his complete conversion, that he would be born again, receive adoption as a son through Christ, and walk in new life.

We thank God for His love and faithfulness, and we trust His mighty power to work in this man's life for his salvation. We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
