Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.

We join with you in praying for your former landlord and we agree with you that our Lord Jesus reigns over all darkness and that His light indeed expels it.

You have chosen a powerful verse to stand on, Luke 9:24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the heart of the gospel, that we must surrender our own way, our own control, and our own life to follow Jesus, and in that surrender we find true and eternal life. We also remember what Jesus said in John 8:12 I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. And in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

We are encouraged that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that anyone can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We pray together for this man.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We lift up this former landlord to You. We ask that You would draw him by Your Holy Spirit, that You would open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and that he would hear Your voice calling him to repent and believe. Lord, we pray that he would lose his life for Your sake, surrendering his heart, his will, and his future to You, so that he may truly save it and receive eternal life. We pray that You would remove any darkness and any influence of unclean spirits from his life, for Your Word says in 1 John 1:5 that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all, and the darkness has not overcome Your light.

We declare Your victory, Lord Jesus, over this rented apartment situation and over every area of his life. We ask for Your healing power and Your mercy and grace to guide him on his life's journey. We pray that he would have ears to hear Your voice concerning Your holy plan for his life, that he would not lean on his own understanding but would trust in You. We pray You would give him a new heart as You promise in Ezekiel 36:26 I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, and that he would become a new creation in Christ as written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

We thank You, Father, for Your love and faithfulness that endures forever, and we trust that You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance as You say in 2 Peter 3:9. We ask that Your greatness and power would be revealed to him, that no one can withstand Your mighty power, and that he would respond in faith. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We appreciate you bringing your former landlord to us in prayer, and we hear the love behind your request. Wanting him to know Jesus and to find life in Him, especially after a difficult rented apartment situation, reflects a gracious heart.

We join you in asking the Lord to work in his life. We do not know where he is spiritually right now, but God does, and He hears when we bring others before Him by name. Praying that he would hear God's voice and understand His plan is a good way to pray, and often that hearing grows as a person is drawn to Christ and begins to walk with Him day by day.

It can help to keep this simple and steady as you continue. Hold that verse from Luke close in your own prayers for him, and trust the Lord with the timing and the outcome, even as you release any remaining burden from that rental season into His hands.

Father, we lift this former landlord to You. Draw him to Jesus and open his heart to receive Him and to find true life in Him. Speak to him in a way he can understand and lead him toward Your will for his life. Give our friend peace as he trusts You with this man and with all that happened in that apartment. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing this former landlord before the throne of grace, and we do so upon the sure word of our Lord in Luke 9:24, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.

There is a solemn truth here which every man must consider. The house in which we dwell in this life has God for its Landlord, and we are only tenants. Our breath is in our nostrils, but He keeps it there, and we owe the continued possession of our existence every day to Him. There is a clause in the lease which none may overlook, that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to require His own property, and to call us to account for the tenancy. It is wisdom to offer the key of our house to the Great Landlord and to acknowledge that we live on sufferance as His tenants, listening for the still small voice and preparing to meet our God.

Our prayer for this man is that he may know the Truth of God's salvation, not in name only but in power upon his mind and heart. If he has truly seen his sinnership, then there is truth in Christ's salvation for him, for there is a real Fall and therefore a real Atonement. Christ is not only the Worker of salvation, but the Salvation itself, and wherever our eyes spiritually light upon Him, there we see God's salvation. That blessed doctrine of substitution, that simple command, Believe and live, is the glass through which the soul looks and sees the Lord's salvation, which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. We ask that this landlord may be brought to such a sight of Christ, that he may trust in Him alone and receive a real pardon, for without faith in Christ Jesus there is no salvation.

We pray also that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. The mere letter of the Word alone will kill, but when we hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power. May he put his ear down to the promises of Scripture till he hears God speaking through them to his soul, and may he discern between the precious and the vile, knowing the voice of his Shepherd and following no stranger. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and we ask that the Word may come to him not as the word of man, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, to be life and salvation to him.

Let us pray together.

O Lord Jesus, who reigns over darkness and whose light expels all darkness, we ask Your mercy and grace upon this man who was landlord over an earthly dwelling. Show him that he himself is a tenant under You, the true Landlord of heaven and earth, and that his life and breath are Yours. Convict him of his sin and his need of a real Atonement, and open his eyes to see Your salvation. Grant him repentance and faith, that he may lose his life for Your sake and so save it, trusting wholly in Your blood and righteousness. Speak to him by Your Spirit through the Scriptures, that he may hear Your voice, know Your will, and walk in Your way. Deliver him from the power of darkness and translate him into Your kingdom, to the praise of Your greatness and power. We ask this in Your name alone, for there is salvation in no other. Amen.

We join you in bringing this former landlord before the Lord in prayer, asking in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

We pray according to the word you shared, that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. We ask the Father to work in this man's heart by the Holy Spirit, to open his eyes to see his need, to turn from trusting in himself, and to give his whole life to Jesus in faith and repentance. Hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation, but hearing must be joined with a response of the heart and life, with perseverance and turning away from what holds him back. We pray that he will not cling to this present world and so lose his soul, but that he will surrender to Christ and be saved.

We also pray as you asked that he may hear God's voice and know His holy plan for his life. God has given us ears and hearts to hear His word, and we pray that this man will hear with care and keep what he hears, and that the Lord will draw him by His grace. Now is the acceptable time and now is the day of salvation, and we ask that he will not delay but will hear and answer the call of Christ today.

Lord Jesus, You reign over all darkness and Your light drives it away. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon this man. Reveal Your greatness and power to him, forgive his sins, and make him a new creation in You. Lead him in Your truth and guide his steps according to Your will.

Thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord and for standing on Luke 9:24. Jesus said that whoever tries to hold onto his life will lose it, but whoever surrenders his life for His sake will save it. That is the heart of the gospel. Salvation is found in losing ourselves to Him so that we may truly live in Him.

We join you in praying for your former landlord. Scripture says that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved, and that now is the accepted time when God is offering His salvation. Our prayer is that this man would come to that point of decision while the door of grace is open, that he would turn from trusting himself and place his faith in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of his sins. Salvation is not earned by works but is received as a gift when a person hears and believes. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

You also asked that he would hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. The Bible describes the voice of the Lord as powerful and full of majesty, a voice that breaks great trees, shakes the wilderness and divides flames of fire. It is a voice of power, yet God has chosen to speak to us personally through His Word. Just as a child learns to know its mother's voice because it has heard it again and again, we learn to recognize the Lord's voice as we listen to what He has already spoken in Scripture. His Word is given by His Spirit, it falls like rain to water the heart, and it does not return without accomplishing what He intends. As your former landlord hears the Word of Christ, we pray the Spirit would open his heart to recognize that voice, to understand it, and to respond in faith.

We also pray with you concerning the rented apartment situation and the darkness you have sensed. Jesus reigns and His light drives out darkness. No power can stand against Him. We ask for the Lord's mercy and grace to be upon all who have been affected, and for His peace to replace what has been troubled. God's love does not fail even when people fail, and His forgiveness is complete. When He forgives, He blots out the past and remembers it no more, offering a new beginning and restoration.

Let us pray together. Lord Jesus, we thank You that You died and rose again to provide salvation for all who call upon You. We lift this man before You and ask that You draw him to Yourself. Open his ears to hear Your voice through Your Word, soften his heart to believe, and grant him the grace to surrender his life to You so that he may save it for eternity. Guide him into the holy plan You have for him, keep his life in Your hands, and sustain him as he walks in Your purpose.
